Men With Brooms DVD

...This DVD includes everything you can see on the stage and brings it together to you on your own sofa. An amazing experince where you can watch and listen to music, but not just any music, i mean who thought of making a performance out of everyday household objects such as brooms, dustbins, kitchen utensils etc? As a musician and a theatre studies student I can safely say that this is a joy to watch and listen to. Its the type of thing that you can put on either when you're working and have it on in the background, watch for the visual side and simply close your eyes, relax and be swept away by the amazing contrapuntal textures, syncopations, heavy drumming, dances and all in all a fantastic performance from amazingly talented musicians/dancers!... ...When this movie was at the cinema i was really impressed by thr trailer and could'nt wait to see it but did'nt mamange to find the time. So when it was relesed on dvd i could'nt resist. On watching it for the first time i did actually quite like it and thought the special effects and sound track were amazing thoughalot of it has all been done before. It does'nt have the most unique story line but when there's nothing else on the box it's well worth a crack. Also to be honest its definately a film for blokes with high lights such Asia Argento and a bad ass blue pontiac gto broom broom. A bonus with gettin the dvd is the large amount of extras that you get like deleted scenes, the making of, a music video, trailers extra extra. If you start watching this film expecting much a clever or unique story line then you probably wont be hugley... Read review

...This is one of Walt Disney's most famous films and well worth watching. I fist saw this film as a young child, and it had not lost it's magic when I watched it recently with my own children! It has a lovely mix of beautiful music and brilliant animation. Who could forget the marching brooms and the big, fat and pink hippos; and last but not least Mickey Mouse in his most funny role as The Sorcerer's Apprentice - getting up to all his usual tricks! Fantasia is a fantasic and unforgettable film for everyone in the family and would highly recommend it.... Read review
