Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Aliens. This is a very good film, with Smith and Jones playing agents in a secret alien monitoring organisation. Except they monitor Aliens actually on the Earth. All is not well as an Alien race of Bugs kills a prince form another planet and the Earth is threatened with destruction. You know who has to save the day. ...this type of film, but Men In Black really did something for me. The film has everything - a good plot, great actors, good scenery and effects and a good soundtrack. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones play the parts of two MiB agents tracking down a mysterious alien (a bug) that is very violent and wants to return home using abandoned space ships in Manhattan. ...The bad alien that the Men In Black were pursuing just grossed me out, and the film was badly written, without either enough tension or laughs. I wouldn,t recommend it to anyone, it was a rather poor outing for Tommy Lee Jones, and worse than usual from Will Smith, whose success in Hollywood has always mystified me. ... Read review

This UFO myth has been going for a long time and is what inspired the Marvel comic on which the film is based. I've expect you've never heard of the comic because it only ran for six issues. But due to the success of this film I'm sure it will resurface along with a new comic. An animated series is already in production and a sequel has been signed up. So, is the film any good then? The film starts with agent K and his older partner dealing with some illegal aliens (Mexicans) trying to cross the border, except one really is an alien. His older partner can't cope any more and so K retires him. Obviously someone who has been working undercover keeping aliens in order can't just leave and go home.
