I have watched this film many times and it never gets old. Despite being aimed at teenage girls who can relate to the characters roles, I think anybody will enjoy it. There are some really funny moments and is a film for anybody. It has a nice plot to follow. This film is directed by Mark Waters, who although has directed other films, this would be his most famous, with Freaky Friday following. Lindsay Lohan stars as Candy Heron, an african-raised girl who has been home schooled for 15 years. Now her parents have moved to America where Candy attends High School. She proves popular and becomes friends with a group known as 'the plastics' ( a bitchy and mean group of girls). However, it would seem as though 'the plastics' are planning to walk over Candy, and upon realizing this, Candy turns everyone agaist them. This is when Candy realizes she herself has become a mean girl.
I rate this film 3.5 stars. It has everything a film needs to be funny and entertaining and with big-named actress Lindsay Lohan starring, it is well worth seeing.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.

Welcome to Ciao, sorry for the lower rate but more info would be helpful. i.e. What makes it a good/bad film, what the acting like, and as you've stated you're reviewing the DVD, what are the extras, if any. Hope this helps a bit. :-)
