Advantages: Lot's of laughs, easy watching, Can be watched by a wide range of audiences. Disadvantages: Is a very particular type of comedy.
Most of you won't be new to friends, and will have already decided between the 10 years (1994-2004) it was on tv whether you like it or not. I personally love it and think it is comedy at its best.
This DVD is the beginning of season 3. I think that this was one of the best seasons because the directors and actors were comfortable as they had already done 2 seasons, but the jokes and the show were still fresh.
Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), David Schwimmer (Ross), Courtney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) and Matthew Perry (Chandler) are back after the media "backlash" and what i would call one of the most promising seasons of friends proved that they had remained undefeatable and the media were back supporting them.

This DVD is a must if you love fishing. MattHayes and Mick Brown are brilliant together in there task to catch all UK Fresh Water fish in a month. What a job. If you have not seen the series on Sky then take a look.
The pair are funny together and will have you smiling along with them, as well as giving a few tips on how to catch the species. They travel all over the country in there quest with differing success. Can they manage the task at hand. Buy the series and find out.
Being on 5 DVD's the whole series is a little expensive but well worth it.

As well as the three episodes, each DVD is packed full of extras, which are in the main fascinating.
~~Mono Track~~
On both discs you have the chance to play the programs with the original mono track, I'm not sure why anyone would actually want to do this though, as it sounds so much better in stereo.
~~Commentaries~~
Jason Connery (Robin), Mark Ryan (Nasir) and Clive Mantle (Little John) provide commentaries toepisodes1,2,4 and 5. These were great fun to listen to, as they relived their memories, and shared jokes with each other.
~~Music Only Tracks~~
Three episodes can be viewed with only the music playing (episodes1,3 and 5), these showed just how wonderfully atmospheric the music is and how important it is to the actual program.
