Pirates of the Caribbean at World end is the third movie in the Pirates trilogy. It follows the crew of the Black Pearl (the Pirate ship) rescuing Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones' locker and then preparing to fight the East Indian Trading Company who are intent on extinguishing piracy. I'm not going to spoil the rest of the plot/movie for you as I believe you should see it for yourself so I will just now review the rest of the DVD and what I thought of the film/films.
At the box office it was actually the most successful film of 2007 and is the second most successful film in the series. I think even if action and adventure films aren't for you (they aren't my most favourite) this would still be a film you like as it is very funny in places, the sets are brilliant and the action really is very well choreographed. Released on to DVD on April 15th 2003, this film is a must have for anyone's film collection. Whether you be someone who appreciates the navy, the sea, period drama or simply the act of war.
This film is compelling not only in its plot but in the way in which each character is portrayed and written in to the story.

Okay, let me start by stating that I am a BIG Tenacious D fan. However, in the interest of providing a balanced review, I shall take an unbiased view at this DVD Release.
The Band
Tenacious D (or "The D" as they are sometimes referred to), consist of Jack Black (from movies such as Shallow Hal, Orange County and High Fidelity), and Kyle Gass (from Idle Hands, Shallow Hal, Elf). The duo met, and Kyle taught Jack Black to play guitar, and Tenacious D were formed.
For years, they played in festivals and as support acts across the USA - although for a long time they only had one song... "Tribute".
