The DVD is well set out with an introduction to the programme followed by the option to do the full workout or to choose from the following sections:
Warm up Cardio vascular Upper body toning Standing stretch Lower body toning Floor stretch Abs Cool down
Allowing you to focus on the areas you think need it most, without having to do the full workout.
The exercises were mostly fairly easy to do and you can feel them working, but I found myself getting left behind when they'd switch to a different exercise without saying anything and leave me looking at the floor on a previous exercise! (This doesn't seem to happen as much when you've done it a few times).
I had expected the DVD to be very dance inspired (I think it was the name), but a number of the exercises are what you'd find on any aerobics video and the abs section involved the usual crunches, while there was also a bit of pilates and yoga thrown in.
The nutritional advice section is, in my opinion, more than a bit unrealistic - eating only fruit until lunchtime and then for the rest of your meals there are a variety of rules about what sort of foods you can eat together and how long you should leave between eating the different types of food. I don't doubt it probably does work but I don't think it's very practical and i'm not going to try it!
All in all a good all round exercise DVD that is quite enjoyable to do. I have used it a number of times and will continue to use it, but it wasn't quite the dance workout I'd expected.
