...Bruce Le, Bruce Leung and Dragon Lee. These films were created on the back of various theories behind his death. Officially Bruce Lee, the greatest oriental Martial Arts star of all time, died of a cerebral oedema (brain swelling), as an allergic reaction to a painkiller, however various myths came to light that he had faked his death to go into hiding, or had died of a delayed ninja death touch, or that the painkiller was a poisonous drug that was ... ...awful fight scenes. Dragon the Bruce Lee story came out in 1993 and is far removed from the previous biographical movies that have been made on Bruce. Dragon depicts American-born Bruce as he returns to America following troublesome teenage years and looks to carve out a career for himself. After obtaining a University education, and starting a Kung Fu school, we see the development of Bruce's TV and movie career. However, along the way, we see how ...

** THE PLOT **
Bruce Lee goes to live with relatives after having sworn an oath not to fight again (but you know that's not going to last long!) and joins some of them in working for a factory producing ice. However, a few of the workers accidentally discover that the factory is not all it seems and is dealing in something far more profitable than ice. When some of the workers ... ...film, but having said that, the plot was stronger than I expected and actually worked quite well.
The action is largely predictable but still engaging. It's not that spectacular for the most part, but there's some much better stuff towards the end (mainly from Lee of course).
Bruce Lee hardly appears at all for the first half of the film (although this does contribute to his character a little) and the majority of the fighting is reserved for the ...
Whilst channel hopping on the old remote the other night i came across "Fist of Fury" on channel five. I was quite supprized to see this classic Bruce Lee film on TV. I had only ever seen it on my DVD set of Bruce Lee or on a video that I onced owned, when they were all the fashion.
So naturaly, being a big fan, I tuned in to watch as i hadnt seen it for a while. What supprized me even more was that it was also uncut!

The base of the story, like many old chinese films, was of revenge. In this case the revenge was for his teacher. Bruce Lee plays Chen Zhen who single handed takes revenge on the culprits. The enemy is a japanese run school. Chinese v Japanese was a big thing in the old days and is the plot of many chinese films. The fight scenes are ...

In Fist of Fury 2 Bruce Lee had already been killed before the film started. In fact he was killed at the end of Fist of Fury by the Japanese council. Just as Bruce Lee avenged the death of his teacher, Bruce Li avenges the death of his brother. The film is literally ...
