Bruce Lee-thal!
Advantages: Supreme martial arts choreography, humourous and most memorable final fight scene. Disadvantages: If I HAD to nitpick, I suppose the comedy is quite basic
The Martial Arts genre has, ever since I started watching movies, been at the very top in my mind and has never lost its place to any other type of movie. My heart was stolen the first minute I watched Enter the Dragon, starring Bruce Lee, when I was 4 years old. It's an 18 certificate movie, but my parents were far from strict about prohibiting me from watching films of a violent nature. As I watched Bruce kick and punch his enemies all over the ... ...blockbusters for me, and over the last 20 years I have watched them all countless times and never lost an iota of enthusiasm for any. However, there is one film that surpasses the rest in storyline and quality of fight sequences and that is Way of The Dragon.

Enter the Dragon
Advantages: Fights!! Disadvantages: Bad acting, bad plot
...When you watch Enter the Dragon these days, it becomes pretty obvious, almost immediately, where films like Mortal Kombat and Conan the Destroyer got their inspiration from. This, the first kung film to be produced by a major Hollywood studio, and the last completed Bruce Lee film before his death "by misadventure", is credited with popularizing the martial art in America and establishing Lee as a cultural icon. And the reason that the film is considered ... ...action. The fight choreography in Enter the Dragon is so good that we needn't bother dwelling on what's bad here. So ignore the paper-thin, James Bond-type plot, and the piss-poor attempts at emotional expressiveness, and enjoy Enter the Dragon for what it is: Jaw-breaking kicks, high- pitched squeals, and incredibly-ripped male bodies. Indeed, Lee's phenomenal fitness has to be witnessed to be believed. [Visit me at: http://www.andycarrington.co.uk] ...

Enter The Dragon, one of the best kung fu movie
Advantages: Every scene is exciting Disadvantages: none, its an amazing movie
Enter the dragon is certainly one of the best movies that has been ever made based on kung fu and other martial arts. This movie deals with bruce lee leaving his temple of martial arts to go and enter a tournament. During this tournament bruce finds out that there is something fishy going on. He finds an underground base where prisoners are ebing held, later he also comes to know that one of his friends who was in the tournament has been killed by ... ...he ends up beating everyone who came in his way. At the end of the movie bruce defends himself against the vicious claws of the main villain and that too inside a mirror maze.
This movie has so much drama, action, romance, and evrything essential for a movie and in proper ratios. This movie is certainly one of the best movies that I've ever seen in my entire life starring my idol................Bruce Lee. ...

Big Boss - Bruce's Lee's spotlight
Advantages: Bruce Lee, gory but funny fight scenes, some interesting extras, remastered picture and sound Disadvantages: You can tell that Lee didn't direct this.
...role after his success in the American market with support roles in Green Hornet, Ironside and Long Street. Although this is my least favourite Lee film, it is still a worthwhile investment.
In this film, Lee plays the character Cheng, a country bumpkin type who leaves China to earn a living in Thailand. He is looked after by his uncle and accepted in to their family. A central aspect of this film is that Lee is forbidden from fighting as a result ... ...until about 30 minutes into the film. Of course being an early 1970's film, this one is full of the usual cliches; over acting, shaky sets, bad soundtracks and dodgy editing cuts BUT it does allow Lee to demonstrate that he did intend to be an actor rather than just a kick and punch jockey.
Lee's family are workers at an ice factory which is actually a front for a drug smuggling business. Workers are treated badly by the gangsters running the factory ...
