Advantages: Great use of special effects, and great fight scenes

A great martial arts film with fabulous storyline

Advantages: The film is awesome
Disadvantages: Not an happy ending

I love this film. As mentioned above, at it's time this was the most expensive film made in Korea, a fact shown in the movie with awesome special effects. This film contains a fantastic, gripping plot with tales of forbidden love, treachery, jealousy and vengence. Complete with fabulous sword fighting scenes to equal any top martial arts movie. Swordplay Lovers Will Adore It

Advantages: Brlliant swordplay, interesting plot
Disadvantages: confusing character relationships

This film is perfect for people who love traditional fanatsy sword fight films. The lead character Jinha is compelling and you can't help sympathise with his plight. His soulmate/lover Sullie is refreshingly strong willed and not irritatingly weak or pathetic. The plot is fairly simple. Advantages: See what life might have been like during the Qing Dynasty
