I'm giving this film 10/10 and it earns every single mark of it. It was sheer brilliance from start to finish as I genuinely expected a film with overdone wire work but this was a good film that was made even more watchable by the fact of it being based on a true story. Jet Li plays the man who founded the main Wushu martial arts movement and we follow him through his life. The fight scenes are well done and don't go over the top at all, which I ... ...token Westerner and it was nice to see he is still doing well after leaving the WWE. The story is compelling and the plot flows well and even if you are not a fan of martial arts movies or struggle with subtitled films you will still enjoy this film for it's story. ...and the fight sequences in Fist of Fury are awesome, especially the nuncucka scene in the dojo.
The basic plot of this film is someone has killed Bruce's master and when he returns he detects foul play so tries to find out who is at the bottom of his masters death kick some serious butt
The main thing that convinces me that this is the better movie is the english dubbing, its the funniest thing ever and its what makes this film a cult classic.

Whilst channel hopping on the old remote the other night i came across "Fist of Fury" on channel five. I was quite supprized to see this classic Bruce Lee film on TV. I had only ever seen it on my DVD set of Bruce Lee or on a video that I onced owned, when they were all the fashion.
So naturaly, being a big fan, I tuned in to watch as i hadnt seen it for a while. What supprized me even more was that it was also uncut!
This in my opinion was the ... ...in as opposed to the others, Which had thier fair share of fighting in, were more structured in thier story lines. The base of the story, like many old chinese films, was of revenge. In this case the revenge was for his teacher. Bruce Lee plays Chen Zhen who single handed takes revenge on the culprits. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon takes place during the Qing Dynasty and tells the story of woman and men warriers and a sword known as the Green Destiny. I was utterly confused when watching this movie and had a hard time grasping my head around the plot. This story line was very difficult to follow and was needed to be searched on the Internet to discover the plot. In my opinion, the movie didn't answer any questions that were set up in the beginning ... ...plot and the characters of the story were to confusing that it was distracting from the effects included. Personally, I beleive that Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was a pointless movie in which there was no plot but just a series of random events that made transitions through the movie. ...
