Lone Wolf and Cub kick some serious butt

Advantages: a decent samurai movie
Disadvantages: dubbing, sound quality in parts as well as picture quality

This is a classic old school samurai film. This film was previously banned in this country for it's violent graphic nature, but nowadays I guess we are made of sterner stuff. If you are easily distressed then this moive is not for you. There are very explicit scenes of swords being buried into heads, heads splitting in half, and more blood gushing than you can shake a stick at. Nice action,martial arts movie.

Advantages: Excellent fight sequences.
Disadvantages: weak storyline.

ROMEO MUST DIE must see for jet lee fans

Advantages: great fighting, storyline
Disadvantages: no Aaliyah so no sequel

This film introduced me fully to the true skills of Jet Lee i have since pruchased almost all of his films. this is a film about jet lee as a ex-policeman escaping jail to go to america and find and kill the person who is responsible for the death of his brother. the story is about a chinese and African american gangs grabbing up land around docks in order to sell to the NHL. Review of Romeo Must Die (DVD)

Kick It To The Man!

Advantages: Great karate action and cute love story!
Disadvantages: None to say.

I have loved the Karate Kid movie since it first came out when I was young. I was not a karate enthusiast or anything like that but I found the movie to be entertaining and enjoyable to watch over and over again. Ralph was a young teen idol when this movie came out and Elizabeth was a great counterpart for the show. She adds a little romance to the show! No one will ever forget Pat and his unique karate teaching. "Wax on, wax off" will forever be ...
...would capture anyones eye. The championship is obviously the most climactic moment but I found it to be suspenseful even though you knew that Ralph was going to try the "crane technique". Now that the DVD is out with special features, well...I won't be missing out on this.
