Brainless Fun
Review of City Hunter (Subtitled and Dubbed) (Wide Screen) by Photosynthesis

Advantages: Great Fight scenes, some comedy moments
Disadvantages: Weak Plot, Dissapointing

Based on a popular manga, I was expecting a lot more from this movie. However for those expecting something similar to the manga, will be disappointed as this movie does not really follow it as such. Ryo (Jackie Chan) is paid to locate the daughter of his employer. He finds her on a ship, which is hijacked by terrorists, and Jackie must save the girl and the day. Its not exactly a unique storyline or a strong plot. But provides plenty of oppertunity ...
...someone who loves lots of fight scenes, slapstick comedy and some brainless fun for an hour or two, then I would recommend this film. But do not expect a strong story line or any intellectual enhancement from ths movie. Its full of cliches and cheesy moments, but also some funny and enjoyable moments. There are some great fight scenes and comedy moments, but its one of those movies easily forgotten. Its a film that a Jackie Chan fan would perhaps ... Read review

Advantages: Excellent Movie, Brilliant Acting
Disadvantages: Aparrently not full truth to life

The Bruce Lee Story Last night I sat in at watched this movie on TV, I am not very into martial arts but I like life stories so I watched it. Basic Intro… It started off as Bruce Lee as a young boy living in china with his father and his father is teaching him how to fight and defend himself in the real world. His father had no choice but to send his son away once he was old enough in order for him to have a better life. So off he went to America ...
...he was seen very different by the Americans. One day as he was working out in the gym, he was spotted for his moving skills and his fighting skills and was asked to teach the people what he knows. So, he started teaching his fighting moves, it started with 2 boys, then 1 girl, then a huge class. It was this class where he met his wife and his career started…… Jason Scott Lee Stars as Bruce Lee, and he was brilliant in this movie, he had the look, ... Read review

==Martial arts and insane stunts==
Review of Warrior King DVD by AeroEngineer69

Advantages: Cheap and entertaining
Disadvantages: Poor plot and acting

Ignore the plot, ignore the acting, this film has awesome stunts and insane martial arts fight sequences. If you love martial arts films or are a big Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Jet Li fan then you will love this. Its a big step forward from the previous film Ong-bak. Memorable moments include the one take 4 minute fight scene and the Thai boxing v Capoeira and Kung fu in a burning temple masterpiece. As before there is no wire work or CGI its all ... Read review

The Best Bruce Lee movie
Review of Fist Of Fury (Subtitled and Dubbed) (Wide Screen) by anoop_mair

Advantages: great fight scene
Disadvantages: not well recognised

...and the fight sequences in Fist of Fury are awesome, especially the nuncucka scene in the dojo. The basic plot of this film is someone has killed Bruce's master and when he returns he detects foul play so tries to find out who is at the bottom of his masters death kick some serious butt The main thing that convinces me that this is the better movie is the english dubbing, its the funniest thing ever and its what makes this film a cult classic. ... Ong Bak! woo!
Review of Ong Bak (Subtitled And Dubbed) (Platinum Edition) by salmonf1

Advantages: Fast paced action
Disadvantages: subtitled or dubbed

Ong bak, starring martial art, and gymastics genius Tony Jaa, is a must see for all martial art lovers. Although subtitled, (i dislike watching it dubbed) its a very good film, and the story is easy to follow. Tony jaa's character is a villager who has spent his life training in the arts of Muay thai, A thai martial art/ sport. His village believe that the condition of their statue Ong Bak bears resemblence to the wellbeing of the village. Basically ...
...become annoyed at the village somehow, steals the head of the statue, and Tony jaa is sent to reclaim it swiftly kicking anyone who gets in the way in the face. (which he does quite a lot. The main aspect of the film is the fact that there are no stunt actors, and no strings or CGI everything you see Tony or others do. Its quite amazing to see what a human is capable of doing. Tony's stunts are vary complex, he can do multiple jumps off a wall for ... Read review
