TWINKLE TWINKLE MY LUCKY STARS (1985)
Advantages: The choreographed fights scenes won't let you down Disadvantages: Too many cast to concentrate or relate to. Too much libidos
...the same cast.
‘Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars (TTLS)’ is an action comedy, just like the two previous instalments. The mighty Sammo Hung directed the film as well as starring in it. The cast I remember seeing in ‘Winners and Sinners’ were Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, Stanley Fung, John Sham and Richard Ng. Eric Tsang was supposingly introduced in ‘My Lucky Stars’ and ‘Twinkles’ introduced a young and handsome character called ‘Pagodo’ (Michael Miu).
With ... ...assume that there would be outstanding fighting scenes without a double. This was true. If ‘Winners and Sinners’ is believed to be the funniest out of the instalments, then TTLS, in my opinion, is definitely more action orientated. Sammo Hung was able to choreograph several breathtaking fight scenes, which enable the trio to demonstrate their potential. This time, Hung was also able to introduce new talents within the fight, such as Andy Lau.
My ...

Utterly funny.
Advantages: Funny scene in Japanese Hotel ordering food, and taking advantage of female ICPO agent Disadvantages: none
One of my favourites, the trio are now in Tokyo Japan, Jackie and Yuan, are ICPO agents who are tracking a crime synicate in Tokyo, but Yuan is captured in the beginning in an Amusement park. Jackie therefore calls for reinforcements from his old orphan pal sammo. Sammo is in prison and is set free only to be arrested instantly, and is offered the job, he gathers all of his old friends who are criminals, and they are all set off on a mission with ... ...million hong kong dollars worth of Bonds, and there job is to infiltrate the crime synicate and to help locate their base. overall the movie like always with the trio is filled completely with Slapstick, with some brilliant acting from sammo's gang. A must watch film for all Jackie Chan fans and a great movie for all who are new to the Peking Opera Trio. Filled with original jokes and an original storyline, with ninja's and samurai's. ...

Breath taking
Advantages: Stunt work, trio action, slapstick comedy Disadvantages: Storyline slightly poor I guess, not the usual standards.
An early work from the Chan Hung and Biao Trio, the storyline here is a drug lord one, Jackie Chan is one of the city's finest Lawyers, and Sammo once again is the famous and brilliant chubby thief, and Yuan Biao is Jackies spying ninja friend, who all get involved with the owner of a fish farm who is sueing the neighbouring cloths factory for polluting the waters which is killing her precious fish, the Lawyer falls for the owners cousin and therefore ... ...in love with the owner risks his life to discover the terrible truth of the factory, while Yuan biao discovers Sammo's disappearence and saves him with Jackie.
Brilliant action from the trio, with an outstanding fight scene with jackie and some white karate boxer guy who was in I think meals on wheels. and some more stunt work from the three.
DVD Features: Original cantonese audio, along with the option of english dub, with english and a few european ...

Fast food, Fast fists, Fast cars

Title: Wheels on Meals
Year Released: 1987

Certificate: 15

Disc 1: Digitally restored and remastered, created from a High Definition master Audio commentary from Hong Kong cinema expert Bey Logan Disc 2: 'On Giants' Shoulders': an exclusive interview with director/star Sammo Hung Rare outtakes 'Born To Fight' featurette with Yuen Biao ... ...parts 1 and 2 but Wheels on Meals is a firm favourite.
Right from the off we see Chan and Yuen in their Spanish apartment and an inspired visual joke in the bedroom. This is essentially a showcase for all three's martial arts skills and acrobatics which are displayed to great effect all through the film.
Yuen Biao is often seen as the lesser of the 3 and is certainly the least well known after Chan's Hollywood career and Martial Law for Hung but ...
