Comedy for dessert anybody?
Advantages: A very funny action film Disadvantages: Will not appeal to everybody.
...as Armour of God II: Operation Condor and Armour of God II. This was one of the most expensive of the Hong Kong cinema's productions costing an estimated 115,000,000 H.K.Dollars (at 1990 prices)
Let me give you some biographical details of Jackie Chan, the Star of the film. Jackie was born in Hong Kong on 7th April 1954 to poor parents. At the age of 7 he was enrolled in the Peking Opera School, operated by Shu Master Yu Jan-Yuen. Here they concentrate ... ...to 18 hours a day. Beatings were common both from the masters and other students. He would never return to academic education. Though he speaks 7 languages, he still cannot read or write with great proficiency, and has someone else write his scripts for him.
After graduation he undertook some film work as a stunt man. Following the death of Bruce Lee, Jackie was only one of the proposed poor replacements. However he had discovered something extra, ...

Enter the Dragon
Advantages: Fights!! Disadvantages: Bad acting, bad plot
...When you watch Enter the Dragon these days, it becomes pretty obvious, almost immediately, where films like Mortal Kombat and Conan the Destroyer got their inspiration from. This, the first kung film to be produced by a major Hollywood studio, and the last completed Bruce Lee film before his death "by misadventure", is credited with popularizing the martial art in America and establishing Lee as a cultural icon. And the reason that the film is considered ... ...action. The fight choreography in Enter the Dragon is so good that we needn't bother dwelling on what's bad here. So ignore the paper-thin, James Bond-type plot, and the piss-poor attempts at emotional expressiveness, and enjoy Enter the Dragon for what it is: Jaw-breaking kicks, high- pitched squeals, and incredibly-ripped male bodies. Indeed, Lee's phenomenal fitness has to be witnessed to be believed. [Visit me at: http://www.andycarrington.co.uk] ...

Enter The Dragon, one of the best kung fu movie
Advantages: Every scene is exciting Disadvantages: none, its an amazing movie
Enter the dragon is certainly one of the best movies that has been ever made based on kung fu and other martial arts. This movie deals with bruce lee leaving his temple of martial arts to go and enter a tournament. During this tournament bruce finds out that there is something fishy going on. He finds an underground base where prisoners are ebing held, later he also comes to know that one of his friends who was in the tournament has been killed by ... ...he ends up beating everyone who came in his way. At the end of the movie bruce defends himself against the vicious claws of the main villain and that too inside a mirror maze.
This movie has so much drama, action, romance, and evrything essential for a movie and in proper ratios. This movie is certainly one of the best movies that I've ever seen in my entire life starring my idol................Bruce Lee. ...

Fight scenes don't come much better!!
Advantages: great fight sequences all through the film keeping the same cast and style as with the first 'Police Story' Disadvantages: Storyline is quite simple and follows directly and predictivly from the previous film
...liked or loved the first police story film then you definatly should invest in this sequel. Police story 2 comprises of greatly choreographed fight scenes regularly through the film with jackie chan taking on the odds in a way only he can. Unlike most martial artists Jackie Chan specialises in fighting large numbers of opponents making the visual screening very realistic as if it was a real fight. He uses his environment and his great fighting technique ... ...action and worth buying just for that reason, it does have a predictable story which suprisingly leaves you very satisfied once the film finishes. Those of you who are already fans of jackie chan then you should already have this in you collection, for those of you who are new to this genre of martial arts action, i would still recomend that you purchase this classic sequel! Especially as you can find it on dvd fairly cheaply on various websites. ...

Chan's worst film!!! still the best though!
Advantages: Action scenes and stunts! Disadvantages: MANY!......very poor story...too many guns(could be an advantage)
...Many people have overrated this movie purely for the love of Jackie Chan. I love Jackie Chan but not this movie. The whole police story movie scene is definitely not one for me....and I am almost certain many others would agree.
Overall a D grade Jackie Chan movie ...
