Jackie Chan is the Dragon Lord!

Advantages: Slapstick humour mixed with innovative action!
Disadvantages: Slightly Clichéd storyline! May ruin the movie for many!!!!!

Plot summary: Dragon Ho (Jackie Chan) and his best friend Cowboy (Mars) travel to save some special ancient Chinese artifacts ( an old favourite Hong Kong storyline during Jackie Chan's era as a classic martial arts hero.) Emotion-filled

Advantages: Cops and Marines brawl, Great action great stunts by Jackie Chan
Disadvantages: None really. its all slapstick and action which is great

Brilliant storyline, with great early stunts from the chinese trio from the peking opera school. Jackie Chan is an officier of the Hong Kong Marine's, Yuan Biao is a high ranking officier of the Hong Kong police, and Sammo Hung old friend of Jackies is one of Hong Kongs famed thieves. set in 1800's Hong Kong Waters have been infested with a strong fleet of pirates, however the marines have constantly failed to erraticated the pirates and therefore ...
...due to Jackies nature and belief of justice, he ends up quitting the police force so he could arrest a criminal. Which lead him to Sammo, who was hired to streal 100 rifles from the police, which was going to be sold to the pirates. The pursuit of brother

Advantages: Death defying stunts and slapstick humour!
Disadvantages: Some scenes are pointless! and story is very ordinary

This not only shows Chan's development as an actor, but it also shows how patient he can be ( I would get too frustrated and quit.) In conclusion this movie must be seen only by Hong Kong humour loving movie watchers....!!!!!!! ...

Review of The Young Master (Subtitled and Dubbed) (Wide Screen) (DVD)

Must See - Brilliant & Ingeneous martial arts!

Advantages: Culturally accurate (As I can tell), Comical, Excellent martial arts & Choreography.
Disadvantages: Not too deep, more for action than story.

I watched this movie as a recommendation from a friend. - And I'm glad I did. This is one of Jackie Chans' first films and helped hurtle him into stardom. Don't be put off by my special effects rating, a good martial arts film doesn't need them! The choreography is outstanding and carries the film from start to finish.
