Ninja films made as they should be
Advantages: A mature serious approach to the genre Disadvantages: compared to some martial arts films now, looksa little dated
...serious element of realism. Whilst Enter the Ninja concentrates largely on Franco Nero's character, Sho Kosugi has a great part in the film as a disillusioned bad guy. The film is a more serious look into the world of ninjas and actually attempts to put a decent plot into the movie

Only Fewl Fight Men With Monkey!
Advantages: great actions scenes; funny Disadvantages: unrealistic
On the rare occasion that I get home at the crack of dawn, I find myself living the cliche 'too tired to go to bed'. With your mind refusing work or sleep, and somehow keeping you in a limbo of half wakefulness, there are only a couple of things you can do in my humble abode. First one is flipping to pirated playboy and watching Julie Ashton in one of her weird home made porn flicks. The other and definitely more preferred thing to do is to have ... ...find out what happens at the end.
Set 100-200 years ago in China, the Iron Monkey is the Honk Kong version of Robin Hood, and unlike all other Robins, this guy does not speak with an English accent. He speaks Chinese. He is a Chinese d00d dressed up like a Japanese Ninja who stalks a very poor town at night, stealing from the rich and feeding the hungry. The fight scenes are highly unrealistic and humorous, yet they are much too much fun to watch. ...

TWINKLE TWINKLE MY LUCKY STARS (1985)
Advantages: The choreographed fights scenes won't let you down Disadvantages: Too many cast to concentrate or relate to. Too much libidos
...the same cast.
‘Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars (TTLS)’ is an action comedy, just like the two previous instalments. The mighty Sammo Hung directed the film as well as starring in it. The cast I remember seeing in ‘Winners and Sinners’ were Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, Stanley Fung, John Sham and Richard Ng. Eric Tsang was supposingly introduced in ‘My Lucky Stars’ and ‘Twinkles’ introduced a young and handsome character called ‘Pagodo’ (Michael Miu).
With ... ...assume that there would be outstanding fighting scenes without a double. This was true. If ‘Winners and Sinners’ is believed to be the funniest out of the instalments, then TTLS, in my opinion, is definitely more action orientated. Sammo Hung was able to choreograph several breathtaking fight scenes, which enable the trio to demonstrate their potential. This time, Hung was also able to introduce new talents within the fight, such as Andy Lau.
My ...

THE STORMRIDERS (1998)
Advantages: Great fantasy, wuxia genre. Nice looking men! Comic book turned movie. Disadvantages: Too many characters, which meant slightly under-developed.
...start, I do apology for the character names. It sounds ridiculous in English, but when translated into Chinese, it is only two syllables and it does sound like a normal name! The story begins with the evil 'Lord Conquer' (Sonny Chiba), who was the leader of the 'Conqueror's Clan.' This man was obsessed by power and was desperate to be the best fighter in the land. In order to accomplish such claim, he must wait 10 years to duel with his rival, 'Saint ... ...hired the 'Prophet Mud Buddha' (Lai Yiu Cheung) to enlighten him of his future. The prediction revealed that he must seek two young boys named 'Wind' (Ekin Cheng) and 'Cloud' (Aaron Kwok). Lord Conquer must train them up to be great fighters in order to fulfil the prophecy. However, the rest of the prophecy can only be revealed in ten years time - it has to be one step at a time. Unless Lord Conquer can open a complex ancient puzzle box which will ...
