Review of Once Upon A Time In China - Complete Trilogy (DVD)

Breath taking

Advantages: Stunt work, trio action, slapstick comedy
Disadvantages: Storyline slightly poor I guess, not the usual standards.

An early work from the Chan Hung and Biao Trio, the storyline here is a drug lord one, Jackie Chan is one of the city's finest Lawyers, and Sammo once again is the famous and brilliant chubby thief, and Yuan Biao is Jackies spying ninja friend, who all get involved with the owner of a fish farm who is sueing the neighbouring cloths factory for polluting the waters which is killing her precious fish, the Lawyer falls for the owners cousin and therefore ...

Jackie Chan is the Dragon Lord!

Advantages: Slapstick humour mixed with innovative action!
Disadvantages: Slightly Clichéd storyline! May ruin the movie for many!!!!!

Advantages: Good plot, excellent Martial Arts

Based on the Dirty Dozen. This is Sammo Hung’s personal favourite film and probably his greatest achievement, in this his is actor and director.
