Classic films!
Advantages: Great films, good commentary, great price Disadvantages: Nothing...as long as you like Karate Kid films :P
...fell in love with it. The storyline is so-so, but the performances and characters were just so awesome - who could forget Mr. Miyagi! It's great for younger boys who can relate to Daniel, and the films also teach good morals.
The special features for the box set are limited to some audio commentary by the main characters, but fortunately it's some good stuff. If you're a fan, its great to be able to see how they are in real life, and none of them ...

ROMEO MUST DIE must see for jet lee fans
Advantages: great fighting, storyline Disadvantages: no Aaliyah so no sequel
This film introduced me fully to the true skills of Jet Lee i have since pruchased almost all of his films.
this is a film about jet lee as a ex-policeman escaping jail to go to america and find and kill the person who is responsible for the death of his brother. the story is about a chinese and African american gangs grabbing up land around docks in order to sell to the NHL. However when jet caracter meets Aaliyah an unlikely partnership is formed ... ...some amazing fight scences and some great songs.
the filming is brilliant with some explosive scences and the escape from jail and the finally fight scene is unbelievable showing just how amazing jet lee's fighting ability is. Also with a cameo from DMX and him and Aaliyah providing most of the soundtrck it is a phenominal hit. i just have to say that if you still haven't seen this film then get up and go and buy it you will not be disappointed. ...

Kick It To The Man!
Advantages: Great karate action and cute love story! Disadvantages: None to say.
I have loved the Karate Kid movie since it first came out when I was young. I was not a karate enthusiast or anything like that but I found the movie to be entertaining and enjoyable to watch over and over again. Ralph was a young teen idol when this movie came out and Elizabeth was a great counterpart for the show. She adds a little romance to the show! No one will ever forget Pat and his unique karate teaching. "Wax on, wax off" will forever be ... ...would capture anyones eye. The championship is obviously the most climactic moment but I found it to be suspenseful even though you knew that Ralph was going to try the "crane technique". Now that the DVD is out with special features, well...I won't be missing out on this. And if you enjoy this one, I suggest getting Karate Kid II as well - another inspiring story of courage and strength. And if you like Elizabeth Shue in the Karate Kid, I suggest ...

Fighter In the Wind is a 2004 Korean film that is based on the true story of Choi Yeung-Eui. Forced by circumstances that come to light in the film he changed his name to Masutatsu Oyama, although his preferred name was Choi Bae-Dal to show his Korean ethnicity. He created his own martial arts called Kyokushinkai karate and successfully challenged and defeated every master Japan had to offer. The film is an ... ...what one single person can achieve against all odds. Rarely have I seen a true story where someone goes from having so little and gaining so much. Masutatsu Oyama

Nice action,martial arts movie.
Advantages: Excellent fight sequences. Disadvantages: weak storyline.
About the movie:No retreat no surrender is a martial arts movie directed by Corey Yuen. This movie is also known as Karate Tiger.
Plot:Jason StillwellUKurt Mckinney) is a young Karate student who trains in his father's Los Angeles dojo. One night after training has finished, the dojo is visited by members of an organised crime syndicate. Jason's father is attacked and has his leg broken by Ivan Krushensky(Jean Claude Van Damme), the hired thug of ... ...good as his character has no dialogue throughout movie.Just a sentence he utters at the last action scene "I am the best".This was my second movie where I saw Jean Claude doing a negative role. The first one was "Black Eagle".Jason Stillwell is a good fighter. He is the main character in the movie and I think his performance is good enough for a martial arts movie.
I recommend this movie and if you like martial arts movies then its worth watch. ...
