Utterly funny.
Review of My Lucky Stars (Wide Screen) by shintai88

Advantages: Funny scene in Japanese Hotel ordering food, and taking advantage of female ICPO agent
Disadvantages: none

One of my favourites, the trio are now in Tokyo Japan, Jackie and Yuan, are ICPO agents who are tracking a crime synicate in Tokyo, but Yuan is captured in the beginning in an Amusement park. Jackie therefore calls for reinforcements from his old orphan pal sammo. Sammo is in prison and is set free only to be arrested instantly, and is offered the job, he gathers all of his old friends who are criminals, and they are all set off on a mission with ...
...million hong kong dollars worth of Bonds, and there job is to infiltrate the crime synicate and to help locate their base. overall the movie like always with the trio is filled completely with Slapstick, with some brilliant acting from sammo's gang. A must watch film for all Jackie Chan fans and a great movie for all who are new to the Peking Opera Trio. Filled with original jokes and an original storyline, with ninja's and samurai's. ... Fast food, Fast fists, Fast cars
Review of Wheels On Meals (Kwai Tsan Tseh) by gp1234512345

Advantages: Great action and some genuinely funny moments
Disadvantages: Plot, but who cares?

Title: Wheels on Meals Year Released: 1987 Running Time: 104 min approx Certificate: 15 Discs: 2 Special Features: • Disc 1: • Digitally restored and remastered, created from a High Definition master • Audio commentary from Hong Kong cinema expert Bey Logan • Disc 2: • 'On Giants' Shoulders': an exclusive interview with director/star Sammo Hung • Rare outtakes • 'Born To Fight' featurette with Yuen Biao • ...
...parts 1 and 2 but Wheels on Meals is a firm favourite. Right from the off we see Chan and Yuen in their Spanish apartment and an inspired visual joke in the bedroom. This is essentially a showcase for all three's martial arts skills and acrobatics which are displayed to great effect all through the film. Yuen Biao is often seen as the lesser of the 3 and is certainly the least well known after Chan's Hollywood career and Martial Law for Hung but ... Read review

hoo wahhh!!
Review of Enter The Dragon DVD by rob1001

Advantages: Great martial art film with the master!
Disadvantages: Sad end

...powerful. Lee isnt going to enter the tournament but it approced by a government agent who tells Lee they are investigating Han for crimes linked to drugs and prostitution. They have no proof however and need Bruce to investigate whilst he is there. Bruce goes to the island and as you can expect there are many fights and Han ends up being a bad guy. The plot then may not be the most complex but it provides easy watching. The main reason to watch ...
...despite being is quite a lot of pain due to a recuring back problem. Bruce was very proud however and still did all his own stunts and many difficult fight scenes. Bruce was also challenged by the extras on the set, many of whom were actual chinese gang members. Im sure if Bruce had his way he would have fought them all but most of the time fights were dissolved quickly. Bruce also loved being involved in the camera work and the direction in general. ... Ong-Bak, see it to believe it.
Review of Ong Bak (Vanilla) by Queequeg77

Advantages: Funny, exciting, amazing, great popcorn flick.
Disadvantages: The story is a little hokey. Who cares?

This is a fantastic film, I'll say that now. If you are already a Martial-Arts movie fan, you should believe the hype. I actually took quite a while to get round to seeing this one, but that was because I hadn't seen a good martial arts flick since... Jackie Chan! I hate Seagal, and Van Damme only has one or two good films. So when I finally watched Ong-Bak: my faith in 'chop-socky' films was reaffirmed. Balletic, exciting, there's even a little ...
...fight scenes, and incredible acrobatic feats that you watch this one for. The 'pants on fire' moment blew me away! When I first watched Jackie Chan (I was very young at the time) I was filled with a 'wish I could do that' sense of awe. Watching this film I felt the same way, and that's rare now that I am at a very jaded age. Very little cinema leaves me feeling the way this film does. A must watch movie, especially if you have been to Thailand! (which ... Read review

Martial Arts Like You've Never Seen Before
Review of Ong Bak (Vanilla) by stewartcran

Advantages: Tony Jaa...The Man Is Not Human
Disadvantages: Lack Of A Story

...does he do that?". With Ong Bak you see a breathtaking on screen debut from Tony Jaa and i guarentee you hav never seen a martial arts movie quite like this. The story line itself is very basic and predictable and really is just an excuse to showcase Jaa's rare talent, none the less you will be heavily entertained from start to finish. The co-stars also play a good part in the movie and are some what amusing and very clumsy. If you appreciate amazing ... Read review
