This is why you will watch it.. Advantages: Very Captivating Disadvantages: Hero dies This movie is a masterpiece. If you have fascination with the eastern arts, there is a lot of things in this movie that will be interesting to you. Its as if the director wanted you to experience the life of warriors. As opposed to kung fu movies where one guy has a quest and goes and kicks everyone's ass, this one is quite different. This movie has a very wide plot. Rivalry between two old generation warriors encompasses all the secondary stories ... ...other appended incidents. Very beautifully written script and perfect settings for such a tale. The one thing which by far stands out is the cinematography. You are going to be amazed. Its not very techno, when it comes to image capturing, like the matrix, but its the fully captured scene which communicates the values of what perhaps the Eastern cultures hold on to as a proud history that sets this movie apart. Classic films! Advantages: Great films, good commentary, great price Disadvantages: Nothing...as long as you like Karate Kid films :P ...fell in love with it. The storyline is so-so, but the performances and characters were just so awesome - who could forget Mr. Miyagi! It's great for younger boys who can relate to Daniel, and the films also teach good morals. The special features for the box set are limited to some audio commentary by the main characters, but fortunately it's some good stuff. ROMEO MUST DIE must see for jet lee fans Advantages: great fighting, storyline Disadvantages: no Aaliyah so no sequel This film introduced me fully to the true skills of Jet Lee i have since pruchased almost all of his films. this is a film about jet lee as a ex-policeman escaping jail to go to america and find and kill the person who is responsible for the death of his brother. the story is about a chinese and African american gangs grabbing up land around docks in order to sell to the NHL. However when jet caracter meets Aaliyah an unlikely partnership is formed ... ...some amazing fight scences and some great songs. the filming is brilliant with some explosive scences and the escape from jail and the finally fight scene is unbelievable showing just how amazing jet lee's fighting ability is. A MARTIAL ARTS EPIC AND A TRUE CLASSIC Advantages: - Disadvantages: - ...Zhang ***************************************** ******* Hero has to go down as one of the best films ever made, if just for the Cinematography alone.
