What a fantastic film! We laughed, cried and at the end felt a little wiped out! It was a real emotional rollercoaster of a film!
Owen Wilson & Jennifer Aniston seemed to really work well together. It was good to see Owen in a serious role, as I have only really seen him acting the comedian. He is very versatile and I loved him in this.
The adorable "Clearance Puppy" certainly teaches the pair some important lessons in life! An impulsive and destructive puppy becomes an all important member of the family, touching the lives of all.
The troublesome new addition to the Grogan family, Marley becomes much talked about in his work and revives the career of unhappy columnist John, (Owen Wilson). He had found himself writing obituaries and stories that were of no real importance, something he had not expecting moving to Florida. But once Marley became a part of his writing he found himself enjoying this role and turned it into a job he loved.
Marley was introduced to the family to stall Jenny in wanting a child. Which in the beginning worked well! But then the family came along and Marley's energy and chaos began to cause emotions to run higher than ever before.
This film draws you in. You become to feel a part of it all and the emotions become your own, feeling joy, upset and sympathy for the characters. I would definitely recommend this film to all. But do have a tissue to hand, because it is a bit of a tear jerker!
