Review of Morrissey - Who Put The 'M' In Manchester DVD by Mozzer1969

Advantages: Morrissey back to his best
Disadvantages: None

...Morrissey ambles on stage and it is like he has never been away. I didn't get to see Morrissey on tour this time around but I don't feel I have missed anything because this DVD fills the gap. This DVD covers all of the recent top 10 hits as well as a few Smiths favourites. Morrissey seems comfortable with himself as he reaches middle age and this shows as he chats with the audience throughtout the show. His band also shine through on most songs but are much happier when playing the new songs. I get the feeling they feel under pressure to compete with The Smiths when they play some of the older songs. The extras are also brilliant with all of the official videos included as well as the exclusive USA ones. Strangly enough my favourite part of the DVD are the five songs from the MOVE festival. Not Worth It
Review of East Is East DVD by becky_uk

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...Is this the most boring film of all time? No effects, no storyline, no good acting and definitely no humour. For a comedy why is it so dismal and depressing? All about the slums in Manchester and the family having to go through unwanted arranged marriages makes you want to cry instead of laugh! And would a true comedy put a man beating his family half to death inside the film for a laugh? This film is definitely not worth wasting two hours of your life watching, and is not worth the money that you have to pay for it. Take my advice and steer clear!... Read review
