As a city fan i have witnessed plenty of ups, but unfortunately more downs. Maybe winning what was then the first division is not so much of an achievement for a club the size of Manchester City but when you have seen your team need to score twice in injury time to get out of the second division, you would definetely appreciate it.
I purchased the DVD off Play.com for £14.99. Which i thought at the time was quite steep. If you are a city fan though, you have to have it. Plus you could probably find it cheaper somewhere else, i just didn't look very hard.
-------------- THE DVD --------------
Obviously the DVD tells the story of the season. The main feature basically shows the goals and some highlights from all of City's league and FA cup games that season. 124 goals in all. As a city fan it is amazing viewing. With the likes of Bernabia, Berkovic and the emergance of Shaun Wright-phillips, City played the best football i had seen in my 18 years as a season ticket holder. This was also the season that spawned my favourite City chant ever. FEED THE GOAT, an ode to an absolute legend, Shaun Goater.
Not only do you see the goals, there are some interviews and comments from the management and players mixed in as well.
There are also extras on the DVD. There is an interview with Kevin Keegan, David Bernstien the then chairman shows off the City of Manchester stadium (which now isn't of much interest, but it was at the time) and 'FEED THE GOAT' which is basically a compilation of Shaun Goater goals.
There is also a season breakdown which shows the fixture list and league table for each month of the season, and the season overview, which is stats about the season, including things like top goalscorers and league records.
