Main Cast: ----------------- Jennifer Aniston – Sue Steve Zahn – Mike Woody Harrelson – Jango James Hiroyuki Liao – Al
Plot: --------- Mike works in a motel run by his parents. He does everything his parents say, he behaves quite childish. One day the travel agent Sue comes to the motel to stay for two nights. Mike falls for her and brings her wine then next evening champagne just to be with her for a few minutes. Sue realises that Mike won’t go until he reaches his goal so just to kick him out quickly from her room she lets him touch her butt. Before she leaves the motel she enters the laundry room and seduces Mike.
Mike asked a lot about Sue while he opened the bottle of wine and champagne so he bought a flight ticket and followed Sue to Maryland. Does Sue requite his love? I let it to your imagination. The film has some twists so it won’t be easy to find out the end.
My opinion: ----------------- As I expected to watch a real comedy the film was a bit disappointing. As a drama it was quite a good film. I say ‘quite good’ because I missed the chemistry between the couples. It didn’t work at all neither between Aniston and Zahn, neither between Aniston and Harrelson. I don’t know whether it was the fault of the screenplay or the director, I would say that it is not good to have the same screenplay writer and director in a film.
Aniston was very strange with brown hair. She had to play a very strange woman who lives almost like a robot, very organised but no emotions. She acted great.
I haven’t seen Steve Zahn before and I have to say that he acted brilliantly. I loved how authentic he was with his enthusiasm for Sue. He is a very talented actor. I really regret that the chemistry between him and Aniston didn’t work on screen.
I really liked Woody Harrelson too. He had a small role but he was great. He acted an ex-punk and he was funny, he had a great character to at and he was absolutely authentic.
I haven’t seen James Hiroyuki Liao before but he was okay in this film. He played the role of Al who was the friend of Mike and supported him when he needed it.
The soundtrack of this film was okay actually I haven’t heard any well known song so I suppose these songs were written for this film. I mention a few of them: Hangover days, Never been to Spain, Adventures in solitude and North winds blow.
To sum up it was quite a good film. I recommend you watching it on a rainy day on TV when you have nothing else to do and there is no better programme. It is not a tear jerker drama not even a funny chick flick it is somewhere in the middle and about average in the story. There are a few twists in the story line and there are some funny plots in it but it is not such a good film you must watch.
Do you ever watch a film that you expect to be poor, but go into it with low expectations and come out happily surprised? Well, never was this more appropriate than with 'Management', the new rom-com from Jeniffer Aniston.
The plot revolves around Sue a traveling sales-woman who stays in a remote motel run by a quirky family. The son in the family (Mike), takes a liking to Sue, and tries to chat her up during her stay. She guesses this, and just ... ...bum. This tips Mike over the edge, and he soon goes on a round the states road-trip to find her and woo her.
This film is a mix of rom-com and wannabe 'Juno'-esque independent. The music and some of the plot is aiming for Sundance film festival, and noticeably so. Still, I quite liked it!
The thing I liked about is the way it differs from your average rom-com. When Sue realizes Mike isn't going to leave her alone until he's satisfied, she asks ...

Advantages: Steve Zahn's performance. Some funny parts Disadvantages: nconsisntent, story is lost at times
I didn't even hear about this till recently when I decided to give it a watch considering it was a romantic comedy.Directed by Stephen Belber and starring Jenifer Aninston and Steve Zahn, this film is rather slow for its genre. Sue(Aninston) is a travelling art seller and checks into a motel where the manager falls for her and comes up with new ideas to interact with her.Things take a twist when Sue allows her to grab her butt after he compliments ... ...before leaving the motel which makes it more complex. What she thought was a passing thing turned out to be more as Mike followed her and continued to keep in touch. The film takes place over the course of a few years as Mike keeps chasing her despite the presence of her boyfriend. Some scenes are really funny but the writing is weak, the film crawls to its end. It is very inconsistent and you wish they had spent more time with the script, a few things ...

Advantages: Some good acting, Disadvantages: Felt cheap, some silly bits
Sue Claussen works selling art, and everything is normal in her life when she checks into a motel one night. Unluckily for her, the night manager Mike spots Sue and decides to woo her with a bottle of champagne. Sue tries to spurn his advances, but ends up letting him get closer to her than she expected. When she obviously has to return home, Mike decides to follow Sue even though she makes it clear she's isn't interested and has a boyfriend of her own. Mike won't give up though, and despite some of his own personal troubles, goes about trying to win Sue over and make her love him back. Will the bumbling hotel manager win the rich art dealer's heart, or can't she look past appearances and job titles?
This was another of my library spots and one I watched simply because it's got Jennifer Aniston in it as I think she's a pretty good ...

Advantages: Great Actors, Funny. Everything you want from a Sandler film. Disadvantages: There are better Sandler films out there, but still funny.
Not the best Sandler film I've ever seen, but still very very funny! Jack Nicholson and Sandler make a great coupling in Anger Management. Theres a whole host of memorable characters in the film who you will find it hard to forget!!
The film, although very funny, does get a little confusing at times, but, its still a typical Sandler film. It still had me in stitches in parts, especially the "I Feel pretty" scene!!!!!!
Again, as with alot of Sandler films, the film has a mix of drama, comedy and romance.
The film follows Sandlers character who has anger management issues, when he gets a court order to attend anger management classes he meets the crazy, yet lovable psychiatrist played by Nicholson. They have a love hate relationshio...more hate than love...!! The film is funny, and although not the best Sandler film, it is up there ...

Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn make for an adorable would-be couple in this romantic comedy. Aniston (THE BREAK-UP) stars as Sue, a saleswoman who stops into Mike's (Zahn, SAHARA) motel on a sales trip. Business soon turns to pleasure, and the pair has a quick affair before she leaves. But after Sue's departure, Mike realizes that his heart might have walked out the door with her, and he's soon in quick pursuit. Playwright-turned-director Stephen Belber (writer of Richard Linklater's TAPE and THE LARAMIE PROJECT) helms this romantic comedy that also stars Woody Harrelson (THE PEOPLE VS LARRY FLYNT, NATURAL BORN KILLERS) co-stars as Aniston's wealthy boyfriend.
