This film version of Man About The House is decent but not up to goodness. Richard O' Sullivan, Paula Wilcox and Sally Thomset play the three people living in a upstairs in a house as lodgers as the house belongs to Mr and Mrs Roper played by the brilliant Brian Murphy and Yootha Joyce. The film is based on the TV Series as it was made in the 70's and so was this film. The movie has its ups and downs and certainly can get a little far fetched but it has some great guest stars in it like Bill Maynard, Melvyn Hayes and Johnny Briggs. The film is based on a group of people trying save their houses from a risky company. They do this by involving a petition and getting local people to sign but when things go wrong they have to try and put it right as best they can. The movie could have been much better but certaunly made an effort.

If you have watched the TV Series of Man About The House and like it then this film is more for you.
