Story:
Malibu's most wanted is a hillarious comedy about B-Rad a young white aspiring rapper coming from a well off family living in Malibu who spends most of his time with his homies Hadji & Monster drinkin' forties, spittin rhymes and generally livin life as a wannabe gangsta, Whilst his father on the other hand is a high profile candidate running for governor of California.
The story starts as Brad arrives home after a days partying to find his driveway filled with the media and after recently submitting a copy of his demo album 'Maliboo-Tay' to a recording studio he presumes that they are there for him so makes a bit of a show for the cameras and gets out and starts rapping..... Well trying to anyway! However after making a fool of himself for a while he finally realises that the media were actually there for his fathers pre election speech and he had just ruined it! Furious at this his father wanst B-rad to give up his wannabe gangsta life and live a nice normal quiet one instead so that he does not have to keep going through this embarassment all the time.
When B-Rad refuses his father is forced to resort to desperate measures to ensure that his campaign is not screwed up and so he hires P.J and Sean two black actors who had recently helped him out in a campaign video to pose as ghetto thugs and kidnap his son to 'Scare the black out of him!' but things can get a little twisted in the hood and soon not all is what it started out to be.As the film progresses B-rad starts to figure out he was set up and starts acting out and he soon becomes Malibu's most wanted!
If you enjoyed 'Dont be a menace to South Central' or 'How High' then this is definately a film for you with its own special brand of humour running constantly throughout. The film was really well cast and Kennedy's role as B-Rad was second to none as was Anthony Andersons role as actor come kidnapper P.J. The production of this film could have been better though as there are several scenes that things disapear from actors wrists or move in the background but hey this was never meant to be a hollywood drama masterpiece and as such some of this could have been intentional. This film also has a great soundtrack apart from added offerings from B-Rad of course! All of the special features are worth takin a look at too with the exception of the audio commentaries they are a bit lame.
Overall this is a great film to throw on if your just sat around drinking with some friends and despite a few production flaws it still makes for an enjoyable way to pass some time, However it is probably not a film you could watch again and again as although the humour is great to start with it does go dry with repeated viewings.

Don't be hatin' 'cause of who he is. Or who he isn't. All that Brad (Jamie Kennedy) - make ... more
that B-Rad - wants is to roll with his Malibu homeys and bust rhyme as the greatest rapper ever to survive the 'Bu. But everyone knows a kid from the Left Coast'...
