Advantages: Maisy is a fantastic character; good way of teaching alphabet Disadvantages: lots of scenes taken from other Maisy videos
...and is bright and energetic. It looks a lot like the books, e.g. a bright background with bold pictures. There isn't much of a storyline - there are just snippets of scenes (often taken from otherMaisy videos). All of Maisy's friends appear - Tallulah, Eddie, Cyril and, of course, Charley.
I think that it is a very good video, but if you have all the otherMaisy videos you may be disappointed that so many of the clips (perhaps all of them?) are taken from other videos. My daughter already knew her alphabet when I bought this video (I just wanted her to know it REALLY, REALLY well), so I don't know how effective it is at teaching children their alphabet, but it seems like a good idea.
I have never read an ABC book with any of my children (can't think of anything more boring), so I like to find other ways to teach them the alphabet, e...

Advantages: Great fun for the family Disadvantages: None
...the right thing allowing Buck to look after her children, but she has no option and her and Bob set off to her father's side.
Up until now Buck has only had himself to look after he is a lazy slob who spends most of his time having a flutter on the horses , he is a very kindhearted guy and means well. Now he has to win over and look after the three children.
There is a shock instore for the children Miles, Maisie, and Tia when they come downstairs to find their parents gone and Uncle Buck in the kitchen cooking breakfast. He is an immediate hit with Maisie and Miles but there is a problem with Tia the oldest of the three, they just don't hit it off right from the start, but this doesn't put Buck off in the slightest.
This builds the main part of the story Buck and Tia's relatioinship. There a lot of ups and downs starting with Tia...
