Advantages: Cute baby care bears. Disadvantages: Completely out of place with the first movie.
I was a child of the 80's, a typical little girl who loved all things cute and fluffy My little pony, Jem, Moondreamers and of course CareBears. My sister was given the original movie back when we were young and it was always a favourite, we hadnt realised the existence of a second film until many years later when I spotted it on dvdin W.H.Smiths, at a mere £5 i had to pick it up and put it on as soon as I got home- "for the kids to watch" was my excuse, really I just wanted to watch it for myself, im a big kid at heart.
This is the 2nd moviein a series of three, ive yet to find the third one so im not sure if it actually exists, it was released in 1986.

The story takes place at a summer camp, where dark heart befriends a little girl and makes a deal with her - she will be good at all the games and sports at the camp, if she helps him to trap the carebears. Luckily, 2 other children at the camp have made friends with the bears, so they too are there to help her.
Elsewhere, we see how the carebears and carebear cousins grew up and became so caring.
This film is full of happy songs, that will stick in your head, and the film full of sentiment, while telling kids to just be nice to one another.
This film was made in 1986, and still looks good - because it is animated it cant age. The dvd can be watched only in english and in mono and doesnt offer any subtitles. It runs for 1hr 13 mins ...
Advantages: all star cast, positive messages, quality you expect from being Sesame Street Disadvantages: as an adult, cute the first time. Tolerable afterwards.
and with a villian who is as mean and selfish as Huxley for an adversary, the Seasme Street gang all go to Grouchland to find Elmo and help him save Blankie and make Huxley return all the things he took from others.Well written and with engaging characters who will be endeared to any young child, even if they have not previously seen Sesame Street, this film is a fun musical romp with catchy songs that will help even the youngest child understand the value of sharing and caring about others.
The DVD itself is excellent. The production values were not stinted on in the least. The colours are crisp, and the Dolby Digital 5:1 sound clear. Nor is the DVD merely the film. This region 2DVD features an animated menu, a behind the scenes featurette that was interesting to me (but not so much for my 3 and 5 year olds) , an introduction to the film by Elmo ...
