DVD Description
The Australian Opera's 1986 production of Gaetano Donizetti's tour de force stars soprano Joan Sutherland in one of her most famous roles as Lucia di Lammermoor. ...awesome. The cops uniforms, the flight attendants and the military stand out as great examples. Eric Serra scored the film as always for Luc Besson. Some of the music in this is awesome as well. I remember watching in a daze as the Diva sang LuciaDiLammermoor which moved seamlessly into The Diva Dance with shots of Leeloo kicking Mangalore butt! Brilliant!
The acting in this film is high class. Bruce Willis turns in another good performance, but the highlights for me were the perpetually overlooked Brion James, Gary Oldman, Ian Holm Tricky and of course Milla Jovovich in one of her first ever films. Advantages: howard hughes(di caprio) portrayed part excellently, best role yet Disadvantages: Rather a long film but thoroughly enjoyable
...The Aviator is a movie of astonishing sweep! This film was based on a true story about a pilot called Howard Hughes(played by Leonardo Di Caprio) This is a thrilling film! It is true Leonardo Di Caprio fullfils his promise and becomes the most compelling actor of his generation. Howard Hughes(Di Caprio) was played to the fullest of his extent, probably Di Caprio's best role yet! Cate Blanchett, Gwen Stefani, Kate Beckingsale and Alec Baldwin were also superb. Willem Defoe even made a cameo apperance. Leonardo Di Caprio's portrayle of Howard Hughes is outstanding and the film will be become a big box office hit!!!Overall I give the film two big thumbs up!!!!I would definately recomend this film for all film lovers!!!!...

Advantages: A lovely romatic Period Drama. Disadvantages: A bit corny!
...**Introduction**
Always on the look-out for a bargain I bought this DVD from Tesco's for 97p!
Lasting approximately 90 mins and rated a PG, it is a charming period film looking a bit older than it actually is. But this somehow adds to its charm! From the Novel by Barbara Cartland, screenplay by Terence Feely. It is directed by John Hough and Produced by Albert Fennel & John Hough.
