The opening scenes of love actually reflect on one of the most surprising places, Heathrow airport. I find this surprising as when you think about love it's not the first place you would think of. When someone says to me think of a place associated with love, I would automatically say a church or something like that, obviously because that's where a lot of people get married. However, ten minutes into the film my thoughts are soon portrayed as a couple are seen at the top of the aisle saying their 'I do's', the lucky couple then go on to have the rest of their family surprise them with music and stuff. Other issues are reflected which all revolve love, for an example a funeral is shown as well as a few affairs a long the way. Love Actually is definitely a feel-good film, which is classed as a romantic-comedy, which I very much agree with. This film contains many well known actors, including Hugh Grant, made famous for four wedding and a funeral. Colin Firth, Keira Knightly and many well known names. The whole message about this film is really that Christmas brings out the best in everyone- makes you realise those that are most important to you, say things that you've never had the guts to say before. I feel that the acting in this particualr film is brilliant on all parts, it was indeed from this film that i realised how amazing Keira Knightly is especially her acting skills. I feel that the actors combination works extremely well in order to create a fun-filled comedy film, i also feel that Richard Curtis has done a brilliant job in creating a fabulous film.
Loads of different day to day issues are discussed, such as the greatness of Britain, the bullying issue between Great Britain and America, how British women are apparently stuck up (wha?!). An utterly brilliant film- one to watch.
Summary: everyday different issues resulting in how love revolves around everything...
