Advantages: Fun game for a while, easy to play Disadvantages: Too repetitive, to easy to complete
This review is for the game, 7 Wonders of the AncientWorld, a game for the Nintendo DS developed by Hot Lava Games and published by MumboJumbo Software. The game is essentially a puzzle game where you have to match up similar objects to progress through the game.
The game is based on Bejeweled, a popular game where you have to match up three or more runes to be able to progress through the game. The title of the game is based on the seven different levels you work through, ie, the great pyramids, Temple of Artemis, Statue of Zeus, Mausolus Mausoleum, the Lighthouse of Alexandra, the Colossus of Rhodes, and the hanging gardens of Babylon.
Really the game doesn?t change as you play it, you are faced just with differently design boards, and some additional features where you can blast away some of the runes in different ways such as ...

Advantages: Good story, with plenty of action
Disadvantages: Too many plot strands early on

Advantages: A good read Disadvantages: Part of the plot is not too convicing
water tank-that is beyond my imagination.
The overall layout of the story using the Mason background and Ancient Mysteries is good. However, I think the reasons behind Malakh/Zach Solomon?s motives is a bit thin on the ground and not too convincing. If a believer of the mysteries was behind it all, that would sound better. A revenge of a son on his father does not really fit too well in this.
And talking about the Ancient Mysteries, I believe readers may have mixed views on this. The final treasure so to speak turns out to be an item (actually a book) that we all know of. Some people I bet are going to feel a bit disappointed. However, looking it at another angle and being a Christian myself, I think it makes a lot of sense. Many people, even I, may have already forgotten ?The Word?. It reminds us how far away from God we actually are ...
