Advantages: Satisfying season finale with long-overdue answers. Disadvantages: Poor writing spoils the majority of characters.
...flashback episodes have now completely lost the charm that made them some of the highlights of season one, while Charlie's turnaround to 'the dark side' is dealt with in a bland and uninteresting way after his actions with Claire's baby and the heroin stash earlier in the year.
Not every character is treated as poorly as the above examples, as the writers' obvious favourites are given plenty to work with. Hurley, initially a sizeable piece of scenery ... ...But then, whoever credited the Lost writers with making sound decisions?
In terms of the island plot, the second half of season two primarily concerns itself with turning established ideas on their head, and succeeds rather well. Locke's crisis of faith emerges when he and Eko find a second DHARMA station thanks to the extremely eerie ultraviolet map discovered in 'Lockdown,' which implies that the necessity of pushing the button in the Swan station ...

Advantages: good cast/plot, new mysteries appear, some answered, decent DVD extras Disadvantages: only half of the series, need 1st half as well, need to pay attention
...the cast should fit their Lost persona.
Some of the actors who perform in this series are the usual:
Matthew Fox - plays Jack Shephard, a troubled spinal surgeon coming to terms of his fathers death.
Evangeline Lilly - plays Kate Austin, a fugitive after murdering her step-father
Josh Holloway - casted as Sawyer, a conman who only looks after himself
Dominic Monaghan - plays Charlie Pace, a Mancunian guitarist with the band DriveShaft along ... ...fo similarities to Oasis.
However since the introduction to the Tail section survivors, Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast and the Furious, S.W.A.T) and Cynthia Watros also star in the show, playing Ana-Lucia (LA cop) and Libby (a clinical psychologist) respectively.
This season, like the last, has around 24 episodes, so theres no surprise that "Part 2" has the last 12 episodes and the other 12 on "Part 1". Also included in the box set are the usual ...

Advantages: It's exciting and addictive! Disadvantages: Can get a bit confusing sometimes
This boxset includes Episodes 13 - 24 of Series 2 of the popular American drama 'Lost'.
'Lost' is a series about a plane which has crashed onto a mysterious Island, the characters all have dark pasts and carry secrets which the other castaways do not know about. The audience are aware of the characters pasts through the use of flashbacks.
Each episode tends to focus on one particular character.
This boxset really is a must have for all fans. Being ... ...the boxsets so far, it is always enjoyable to watch each show again as you pick up on things that you missed before. It is such a complex show that you need to watch it again to really get your head around what has happened! The show itself is exciting and is well produced, it's very surreal and the storylines at times can seem a bit silly, but all in all its a fascinating show which soon becomes addictive!
My favourite episode from this boxset ...

DVD Description
Created by successful television producer J.J. Abrams (FELICITY, ALIAS), LOST became one of the most popular and critically acclaimed programs of the 2004-2005 season. Utilising a ripe premise and well-drawn and acted characters, LOST attracted a huge following and was proclaimed the saving grace of a television year otherwise marred by derivative reality programming. The story concerns the survivors of a terrible plane crash, who find themselves stranded on a tropical island with seemingly little chance of a rescue. Medical doctor Jack takes a position of leadership, helping to rally the survivors and prepare them for a period of difficulty as they learn how to survive on the paradisiacal island. But everything is not as it seems, as the island offers potential danger in the form of a large, mysterious creature, and evidence is found that the plane crash may not have been an accident. As they struggle to survive, each of the characters forms alliances and makes enemies, all while dealing with the unresolved issues of the lives they've left behind. LOST distils the difficulties of society down to their essence, exploring these problems with compelling characters and with a setting that's equal parts paradise and mystery.
