Advantages: New setting and introduction of DHARMA add intrigue. Disadvantages: Takes too long to arrive nowhere by the half-way point.
...episodes of the series. Watching Lost back in hindsight as an extended novel-for-television, a novel that is now over half complete, season two both builds upon the introduction offered in season one as well as introducing entirely new elements presumably as the writing team realised that this hugely successful show had a few more years left in it. This DVD set contains the first twelve episodes of season two, the set-up to the set-up, and is very ... ...similar extensively plotted TV series, Lost really does test my patience, here more than anywhere else. Even within the first two episodes of season two, it's clear that the path ahead is going to be very long and very tedious, as both episodes end on the very same scene, reached from two different forty-five-minute-long angles, and are finally concluded in episode three by the presumed man with the answers (in the form of Desmond) running off, not ...

Advantages: good cast/plot, new mysteries appear, some answered, decent DVD extras Disadvantages: only half of the series, need to pay attention
...the cast would fit their Lost persona.
Some of the actors who perform in this series are:
Matthew Fox (Party of Five) - plays Jack Shephard, a troubled spinal surgeon coming to terms of his fathers death.
Evangeline Lilly - plays Kate Austin, a fugitive after murdering her step-father
Josh Holloway - casted as Sawyer, a conman who only looks after himself
Dominic Monaghan (Merry Brandybuck from Lord of the Rings) - plays Charlie Pace, a Mancunian ... ...that the band has a lot fo similarities to Oasis.
Also, there are some new faces to the series, including Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast and the Furious, S.W.A.T) and Cynthia Watros playing Ana-Lucia and Libby respectively, additional crash survivors who were seperated from the main set of characters when the plane broke in half, who have to deal with missing people and trying to be accepted into the group we already know.

Advantages: *wow* even better than series 1!!! Disadvantages: painful having to wait for series 3 to braodcast!!!
...as friends, ER, OC etc., lost is the drama that you could not and should not miss any ONE episode. Therefore, first of all, I would recommand anyone that haven't seen the first series of lost not to start watching series 2 before you are done with series 1. The reason for me to say that is due to the nature of the drama. In lost, each episode is composed of flashbacks of a particular character. Their flashbacks are then very much related to who they ... ...of the outstanding features of lost is its success in creating and differentiating its characters.
If you haven't watched series one, I would recommand you not to read the rest of the review as I afraid i might spoil the surprises you can get from season 1.
For those of you who have watched series 1 but haven't watched series 2, don't worry, i will not spoil your surprises, though I would say BE PREPARED!! there would really be many surprises and ...

DVD Description
Created by successful television producer J.J. Abrams (FELICITY, ALIAS), LOST became one of the most popular and critically acclaimed programs of the 2004-2005 season. Utilising a ripe premise and well-drawn and acted characters, LOST attracted a huge following and was proclaimed the saving grace of a television year otherwise marred by derivative reality programming. The story concerns the survivors of a terrible plane crash, who find themselves stranded on a tropical island with seemingly little chance of a rescue. Medical doctor Jack takes a position of leadership, helping to rally the survivors and prepare them for a period of difficulty as they learn how to survive on the paradisiacal island. But everything is not as it seems, as the island offers potential danger in the form of a large, mysterious creature, and evidence is found that the plane crash may not have been an accident. As they struggle to survive, each of the characters forms alliances and makes enemies, all while dealing with the unresolved issues of the lives they've left behind. LOST distils the difficulties of society down to their essence, exploring these problems with compelling characters and with a setting that's equal parts paradise and mystery.
