Advantages: Extended sequences, hundreds of special features, beautiful artwork Disadvantages: Films are presented on 2 DVDs rather than 1
...This mind-blowing extended trilogy box-set of the immensely popular Lord of the Rings films is an absolute must-have for any fan of the series or fantasy stories of any kind. Gorgeously presented and smothered in artwork, each film is presented in its seamlessly extended form alongside an innumerable number of well-organised special features. Advantages: Good cinematic effects, graphics and landscape Disadvantages: A little too long
...A visual threat of roiling flames, cool clashes of metal and a clear distinct fight between good and evil, Lord of the Rings had outdone many other shows, bagging acclaimed awards and leaving people hungry for more. It is able to blend a kind of fantasy- like orcs and goblins, mages and wizards with a very rustic and ancient setting of Middle East, The Shire, Mordor, and other architectural sets. It leaves us gasping and transfixed in our seats, for every battle, every story stimulates the senses, coupled with good humour and wisdom. This movie shows the rise and ebb of civilizations, great kings and ultimately, the fight between Good and Evil. Wow! A great buy with all three sequels bunched in! A must watch indeed!...

...Probably this film "LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY " have been reviewed many times. But I would still like to share my experience with this brilliant film by Peter Jackson. Everything about this film is perfect! I would suggest you to sit tight and don't let anyone disturb you while watching it, you will definitely miss something important if you did. Actually it happened to me so i just warn you! Don't make the same mistake as i did. Luckily i have the DVD set and i can watch it anytime i want to. Anyways here are some briefing on what to expect.
