I rented the film loaded from love film last week and decided to write about it. I hadn't heard of the film before and it only caught my eye on love film website because I saw it had Vinnie Jones in it and love his films. The plot also sounded ok and I recognised some of the other actors but couldn't place where from.

* Plot *

Tristan Price (Jesse Metcalfe) is a young, rich man with a luxury lifestyle. He has a wealthy future as a lawyer, loving parents who give him anything and a beautiful fiancée at his feet. This all changes when one day he meets a drug dealer named Sebastian Cole (Corey Large) who entices him with fast cars, lovely beach houses, guns and beautiful women. Tristan becomes involved in their world as he meets April one of Sebastian's women where he feels he is in heaven having a sexy girl on his arm, new friends and an exciting new aspect to life. Tristan's brother becomes extremely worried about him as he will not leave the dealers house and his fiancée cannot find him. But Tristan's new best friend is not all that he seems when secrets reveal themselves its all about his past.

Jesse Metcalfe- Tristan Price.

Tristan Price a young wealthy man with a bright future until he meets Sebastian Cole. He is determined to enjoy life his own way and is fed up of his father controlling his life. He is a strong minded character and has his own morals and values.

Jesse Metcalfe- Is a young successful actor. He has acted in many popular shows and films. Some of these include, Desperate Housewives, Smallville and John Tucker must die.

Corey Large- Sebastian Cole

Sebastian is a hugely successful drug dealer who seems to have everything, fast cars, amazing women and expensive guns. He is also very manipulating and can attract young people into the world of drugs very easily. He is a dark and mysterious character and you can see he does not give away a lot about himself.

Corey Large- not a very well known actor but he has been in a few shows and films that I have heard of. Some of these are- Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Freedom and Cold Feet TV show.

Vinnie Jones- Mr Black

Even though Mr Black is not a major character he still plays a vital role in the film and is the head of the drug dealers. All of the dealers have to report to him and he arranges everything. This part is very well fitted for Vinnie Jones and he plays it very well.

Monica Keena- Brooke

Brooke being Tristan's fiancée is a very well respected and proper girl. She has a lot of wealth and does not have a lot of backbone. She seems like the perfect women beautiful, wealthy and with a bright aspect on life.

Monica has also played her role in a lot of well known shows and films which I did notice her from. A few of these consist of- Ghost Whisperer, Greys Anatomy, CSI, Freddie Vs Jason, Dawson's Creek and Man of the House.

Nathalie Kelley- April

April is a young sexy stripper and lives with Sebastian and his men. She is there for their pleasure and when she meets Tristan she is the own who keeps him coming back to their drug fuelled lives. Even though she is living with the gang she does seem to care for Tristan.

Nathalie Kelley is an uprising sassy actress and has only been in one other film which was a huge hit- Fast and the furious Tokyo drift.

* Opinions *

I quite liked the film. The story was pretty good not really anything different it's quite predictable but the few twists at the end made it superior. It had well known actors and they acted very well indeed and were well fitted for their roles. Liked the way that's Vinnie Jones was not the main character even though he played a vital part he wasn't seen in every other scene. The director Alan Pao is not well known to me, he has directed a few films that were successful but not popular that I knew all of them. Some of these are- 'Chasing Ghosts' and 'The Penthouse'.

I quite liked the character of Tristan as there are properly a lot of teenagers who can relate to him some way. There is always a high risk of being exposed to violent people and there is in this period of time the pressure of drugs and crime for young people. I think it shows a good moral message for teens that even though drugs seem to be an easy option for an easy life it does not pay in the end.

The action is always flowing so you do not bored with the storylines and it has a very good soundtrack to the movie.

I would recommend this film to anyone who likes action and adventure. This is my favourite kind of genre so I really enjoyed it but I think a lot of others will as well as it is an exciting and well made film. The film is an 18 which I think is suitable for all the drug references. Violence and sexual scenes.
