Being a big Liverpool fan I sat down to re-live the greatest comeback in footballing history once more, and was not disappointed by the contents of this 2 disc set.
On Disc 1 is AC Milan v Liverpool, two giants of European of European footballing history. Before the match began, Liverpool were big underdogs. This was the way it was all the way throughout the competition. Unfortunately at half time these dreams seemed doomed as Liverpool were outclassed by some outstanding football by their Italian opponents. With Liverpool looking at the heaviest defeat ever in a champions league final it was hard to watch the second half.
But what happened in the second half was like something from your wildest dreams. With Liverpool 3-0 down and out, they somehow dug deeper than any team could possibly dig to first draw level (with 3 goals in 6 minutes) then take Milan to extra time. With penalties seconds away, Milan had a chance to win it, only for Jerzy Dudek to pull off one of the greatest double saves of all time to keep them in it. Dudek would again be the hero as his penalty saves won the European Cup for the fifth time for Liverpool; meaning that they kept the trophy for ever.

On Disc 2 is- The Road To Istanbul. Starting from the qualifiers with Liverpool's defeat to GAK in the qualifiers, it shows you highlights and the goals from every game on the way to the final. With Liverpool 1-0 down at half time to Olympiacos in the last game of the group stage,Liverpool looked down and out. They needed 3 goals in the second half to qualify to the knockout stages,which seemed unlikely, as they had only scored 3 goals in all of their previous games in the group stages combined. But in the second half with Steven Gerrard, in dazzling form top the game by the scruff of the neck and scored a screamer to win the game 3-1 and put Liverpool into the knockout stages to face the elite of European football.
In the coming months Liverpool overcome both Juventus (Italian champions elect) and Chelsea (Premiership champions), to get all the way back to where they belong - THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL.
