A little princess

Advantages: Enjoyable, Fun
Disadvantages: None

A Little Princess Its the story of a young girl Sarah Crewe, brought up in India, who has to move to England and go to a boarding school while her father goes to war. Her father is very wealthy, and so she is treated like royalty in the boarding school, with her own room, all her toys, and all thr other girls love her instantly. However, after a months, the owner of the boarding school - Miss Minchin, hears of the sudden death of the young girls father, and decides to keep her out of charity and she has to work as a slave in the school as her keep. The Storyline I think the movie has an excellent storyline, i thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. It tells the story of hard times throughout the war, not only do you see the life of Sarah, But you see how the people of England survive, and how poor it was to live in. Its ...

Everything for my little princess...

Advantages: Great story
Disadvantages: Bit sad in the middle

A little Princess ------------------- ***Story line*** A young girl called Sarah Crew who lives in India has to go to a boarding school in London as her father is fighting in the war. She has no mother but her father loves her very much and finds the best boarding school he possibly could. There she is treated as a princess and because her father is so rich she can have the largest bedroom and all the toys a girl could possibly want. She also has a locket which is very special to her and although she is not permitted to wear it she always keeps it on her. Sarah is called a princess by her father and proclaims to all the other girls that she is a princess which immediately gains her respect. She tells the other girls stories about when she was is India and most of the girls enjoy them apart from Lavinia. Lavinia is the only girl ...

Mr Bean - The Animated Series - Vol. 1 DVD

Advantages: distracts the children
Disadvantages: not funny, humour very simple and mostly slapstick or toilet houmour.

', 'The Fly', 'Artful Bean', 'Mime Games' and 'Spring Clean' where Bean makes housework very hard work. Painful to sit through and I've not watched it since. The comedy is obviously aimed at little kids, most of it being stupidly simple, slapstick, or distasteful toilet humour. This wasn't the original Mr Bean's style and although having Teddy as a main charcter, it still doesn't appeal to me. COST: £9.99 PLACE OF PURCHASE: Blockbuster CERTIFICATE: U NUMBER OF DISCS: 1 Overall I can only give a 3 star rating, it's not suitable for adult viewing, or I might say judging by the children I've spoken to, anyone over the age of 7. The humour isn't funny and viewing it just makes you cringe. Why 3 stars you may ask, well the soundtrack is quite good, the instrumental composition is done well despite being ruined by vocals. Also it might be ...
