Lady in the water (dvd in the bin)
Review of Lady In The Water DVD by  lynseyb

Advantages: an imaginatve story
Disadvantages: very poorly portrayed

...My attention was drawn to this movie as it was shown as a trailer during my time at the cinema watching another movie and I thought this was a movie I would enjoy. However after hearing many people saying they had been to watch this at the cinema and hated it I decided to give it a miss. The other day as I finished my shopping in asda I saw this DVD for £5.99 and thought oh lets give it a go. After watching it last night though I wished I had stuck to the giving it a miss idea. The story //////////\\\\\\\\ The story of lady in the water is one of building manager Cleveland Heep who rescues a mysterious young woman from danger to discover she is actually a narf (a character from a bedtime story) who is trying to make the journey from our world back to hers. Slowly but surely Heep and his fellow tenants begin to realise they too are... Read review

A proper little madam but as cute as can be!!!!
Review of Three Men And A Little Lady DVD by  selket135

Advantages: story continues from last film, full of laughs, great storyline
Disadvantages: none

...pretends someone in the back row is putting her hand up to contest the wedding going ahead. He tries all sorts of things to slow the ceremony down. It all end with a huge confrontation in the church where Tom Selleck finally tells Sylvia he loves her. This is all ok except the groom actually thinks he's married Sylvia, only to be very surprised when Ted Danson takes his makeup off and shows him it wasn't a real ceremony. This is a film full of plenty of laughs all the way through. The acting is fantastic especially from the little girl who plays Mary, shes so cute and a great little actress. With this all star cast the film is delightful. They make an excellent team and its great that the film continues its story from the last one. With plenty of funny moments and the great storyline which is the plot to prevent the wedding, it is a great... Read review

These Ladies have got balls!
Review of The Iron Ladies DVD by  Ailran

Advantages: Great characters, lovely story, a different kind of sports film.
Disadvantages: subtitles... thats about it.

...don't mind because the story is engaging and the actors are infectious, their lovely sing song voices are just beautiful to listen to. You thrill as the main characters get picked, feel sorrow when things go wrong and get elated when they start to do well in the local competition. The whole section of the film where the main characters go round recruiting their friends for the team (very reminiscent of the same thing in Shaolin Soccer) including the gay soldier 'Iron Pussy', the beautiful Pia and the triplets is funny enough to keep a smile on your face permanently. The slices of Thai life you see are bright, colourful and lively, which is a great description of the whole film! Everything about Iron Ladies is just wonderful, it entranced me again recently when I watched the DVD again, even though I knew the ending. All the main... Read review
