Advantages: Gives a different view of little britain, while on stage. Instead of on camera Disadvantages: The differnt view can get hard to get used to for certain people.

In one aspect of this DVD you may find it funny because of the quick jokes and the kind of humour you may be into. If you like to laugh at other people and comments. This DVD takes the "piss" out of many well known people in the UK and may be seen as funny to certain people.
In another aspect you might find this DVD quite vulgar, you may not like the jokes given in this DVD and find the fact that laughing at other people is an "immoral state of democracy and puts a bad reputation on the modern days society" (lol I thought I'd paraphrase that as i thought it would be what Andy Pipkins would have said) Some scetches are more funny then others (although my favourite is the fat fighters lady)
I can think of a few scetches and describe their meaning for you. The first one I can think of is Margery Doors, She is a fat fighters lady who is the spokesperson, she's always putting her fat fighter team down and shouting at them, she takes the mickey out of the asian lady. (this could also be a reason why you would find it offputting)
Another would be prime minister, when Sebastian, the prime minister's aid is in love with the prime minister and acts really camp. Although Sebastian gets naked in the DVD, another reason why this might not be classed as funny to some people.
The last one that comes to my mind would be the one where Mr dudwee is with a thai woman and the thai woman is always telling lies to him, he finds out in the DVD that she's already married.
There are more scetches other then these few I've talked about, I thought that if i described them, then you might be able to decide if you like the sounds of them or not.
To be honest I really love this DVD I have all the other series and enjoy watching the DVD over and over.
Advantages: Hilarious performance, lengthy bonus features. Disadvantages: No backstage scenes
...a finale for me, what little Britain was all about. You will find a night of comedy excellence where all the best known characters appear in original and all ready featured sketches. From David Thomas to Ting Tong the style of comedy is only enhanced with an interactive and up for anything audience in Blackpool, Las Vegas of the north. The DVD contains a small video of Lou and Andy in Blackpool before they go and see the show, so being part of the ... ...of the overall creation of Little Britain live across the country. What was also good to see was the 2 hour film-documentary on David Walliam's preparations to swim the channel. One thing that would have improved the DVD would have been more backstage experience and the accumulation of ideas that preceded the performance. With other little Britain DVDs an in depth documentary was put together, speaking to producers, directors, actors (including David ...

Advantages: you get to see the pair acting the fool on stage Disadvantages: The money you spent could have bought you a few pints instead
As much as i like Little Britain, some comedies take to the stage well and some don't really work and for me ... this doesn't work. Maybe they should have done the Live show when Little Britain was still fresh in people's minds, but now the characters are laboured, predictable and like so many comics that take to the stage...when they run out of material they just start swearing more to get a laugh. To be honest most of it really made me cringe to ...

Advantages: The Bonus Extras are pretty good, especially David swimming the channel Disadvantages: You may have already seen some of the sketches on tv
I went to see Little Britain live in Cardiff in December 2005 and was absolutely amazed. The effects were fantastic, the atmosphere was great and Matt and David were just brilliant. I was completely amazed at how quickly they managed to get into costume and couldn't believe how good the effects in the background were. I could not wait for the release of the DVD and after just watching it I'm not disappointed one bit. Because I'd actually been to ... ...sadly dropped as a character on the newer series. Best part for me though is Daffydd and everyone dancing at the end. Fabulous!!! I recommend getting this for any Little Britain fan. I think if someone hasn't seen it before, they may not understand half of it. Fab! Fab! Fab! ...

Advantages: Funny, inline with the series of little britain Disadvantages: live, different from the normal showing of the series, some of the same stuff
...it is, eagerly waited for.
Little Britain Live, sees the old favourites brought to the stage by the shows creators, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, with the voice of Tom Baker, and supporting acting from Anthony Head. The costume changes are quick and were very much like they were live (no editing for the dvd) and the back drop is cleverly desgined, all in all a well put together show. If you like the tv and radio series then this is a good thing ... ...sketches make sense, and it sees the return of some of the favourite characters from series one and two, aswell as some of the newer characters from the later series.
Aswell as the show, the dvd comes with the added extra of watching David in training and swimming the channel, with commentry from an unkown Matt Lucas :D, watching the swim brought home that these two comic geniuses of this century also have hearts and the well being to do well for ...

Advantages: Funny - classic little britain! Disadvantages: Jokes are getting old?
...it's due.... some of the little britain sketches are 1 of a kind and are actually quite funny but i do believe it's time for Little Britain to either make some new sketches or just dissolve.
But like i said 'credit where it's due' they do pull it off really well live and if your a fan i recommend you buy it. Would of liked tohave gone seen it live because of the atmosphere etc. but watching it in my front room it just wasn't that good.
If it was ...

Advantages: Comedy Disadvantages: Rude comedy in places, 15+
If you are a couch potatoe, you would be one of the many millions all over the country who has heard of Little Britian, even if you are not a regular television watcher, have probably heard of the show, and the comments about the show. This is the LIVE show of the sell out tour, of LittleBritainLIVE.
This DVD is just the same as the TV series, but just on stage at an arena, with a live audience, as the show is being filmed to be put on this great disc.
LittleBritain is a comedy show based on two people, playing the roles of different people all around britain, like teenagers, old people, adults, but most of the country knows the names of these characters, as the nation continued to watch the three series comedy.
Matt Lucas, and David Walliams play a wide range of characters. The pair work well together, and after a while ...
Advantages: It's quite fun - single and team player options Disadvantages: Sometimes hangs - limited appeal
So you've seen all three series, and the live show, so you'd have though that was it from LittleBritain - but that is not the case. LittleBritain - The Game is an interactive DVD game which you can play either on your own ("playing with yourself") or with other people ("playing with others") using the remote control of your DVD player. The premise is relatively straightforward - you score points from various rounds to be allowed to proceed to a bonus round, which is a LittleBritain General Knowledge quiz. If you win there are exciting mystery prizes... Like Bubbles Devere... Nice...
7 rounds are chosen at random, with rounds such as "Name that Gay" hosted by Daffyd through to a children's television fun quiz hosted by Des Kay (from the first series). Tom Baker is once again doing the voiceover and introduction and all the most ...
Advantages: Very funny, lots of extras, old favourites Disadvantages: some weak new characters
. The deleted scenes are most surprising because on past sets they have been mostly abandoned concepts and characters. This time in addition to these there are half a dozen Lou and Andy sketches you haven't seen before in addition to more Dafydd, Carol, Emily Howard and the old lady who likes frogs.
The Southbank Show Special is also included which is very informative about Matt and David's life and how LittleBritain goes from script to screen. 'Highlights from LittleBritain Night' is also a nice extra if you like watching the creators talk about the show. Especially good if you missed this event when BBC3 screened it at the beginning of the year. More interviews with the 'Richard and Judy Interview' and David on 'Top Gear'. You also get a LittleBritainLive trailer which is coming to DVD in November.
