Lilo and Stitch was a very well done movie with a fun plot and memorable characters. I laughed out loud several times and was touched by the strong message of family unity that it carried with it. However, I missed the classic Disney feel and the great songs. Lilo and Stitch is a very fun, entertaining movie, but is nowhere near the quality of Lion King or Beauty and the Beast. It fits in well with Disney's new line-up, with movies such as The Emperor's New Groove, movies that are fun and entertaining, but not ones that I would consider Disney classics. In short, Lilo and Stitch is a delightfully fun movie for the whole family and I would highly recommend renting it. However, I would recommend watching it first and then deciding whether or not it is worth owning.

A bit more information is needed in opinions for a higher rating. Consider what you would want to read in a review before you parted with your money. What was it that made you buy it, price, comparison to others etc. These are all the things a potential buyer wants to know and this is how the opinions are rated. Advantages: Kids will like it, Elvis soundtrack, ocassional funny moment, 'cute' if you like that kind of thing Disadvantages: Lazy, lazy production. Disney morals(again), no surprises, not a classic Disney movie by any stretch of the imagination
Advantages: lovely quality of drawn animation, positive messages, realistic body forms and facial feautres Disadvantages: some of the extras could have been left off without harm
Advantages: Great soundtrack from Elvis, Original characters and nice family plot line Disadvantages: Its mad that the characters actually believe Stitch is a dog when he is clearly an alien!!
