Experiment 626 is an abomination. He has binocular vision and rather large ears allowing him to have acute hearing. Experiment 626 is flame proof, bullet proof and is designed to destroy everything in his path. Experiment 626 has escaped from the interstellar custody of Prison Transport Durgon, he is armed and dangerous and heading for the Planet called Earth. If you have information regarding this abomnination please contact your nearest Galatic Federation Headquarters.

Lilo and Stitch is the funniest animation I have seen in quite a while.
The story focuses on Lilo, a little Hawain girl who has recently lost her parents and lives with her sister Nani.
Lilo, is cute, sassy and desperately wants to be accepted by her peers but always seems to be left on the sidelines.
Her extremley stressed sister Nani, is pushed to her limits by Lilo and the arrival of the 'special classification' Social worker, Cobra Bubbles. He is the one they call when things go wrong, and in the case of Lilo and Nani things have definately gone wrong.

Meanwhile on the planet Turo a rather mad scientist is being accused of creating an abomination by Galatic Federation, thus Experiment 626 is introduced. A rather cute blue thing which looks like a cat crossed with a dog with a dash of rat.
Needless to say the scientist is sent to prison and Experimetnt 626 is taken away to be destroyed.
Being virtually indestructable is a great asset and with his rather high level of intelligence, this rather cute experiment steals a ship and heads for earth.

Once on Earth 626 is mistaken for a dog and taken to the pound while Nani takes Lilo to the pound in search for a new dog. Needless to say the rather eccentric Lilo takes the rather strange looking dog home.

From that point on disaster after disaster happens. Lilo's training of Experiment 626- now renamed Stitch- to be more like Elvis leads to destruction and chaos something Stitch is good at.

Things start to change for Stitch, he becomes attached to the story of the 'Ugly Duckling' and fascinated by his new familys motto 'O HANA' which translates as 'family where noone gets left behind or forgotton'.
Stitch is unsure what a family is, does he have one? Where did he come from?
Yet Stitch is still an abomination and the Galatic Federation want him back. They send the mad Scientist accompanied by a loopy one-eyed alien who oversees that no humans are killed -we happen to be a protected species-, to earth to recapture the prisoner.

The animation is filled with lots of references to families and looking out for one another no matter how different we may be. It is perfect for children to learn and understand what it means to be a family unit whether you have both parents or maybe just one.
Lilo and Stitch is Disney at its best packing great entertainment into a animation with an even greater message.

The use of 'The King' Elvis Presley not only in the soundtrack but as a basis of training for Stitch was not only entertaining but highly moving as it showed Stitch really trying to behave but scared at the same time.

The animation is quite fast paced and action packed. It isnt long before the cat is out of the bag that Stitch is an alien, but thats ok Lilo still loves him, but what about the Galactic Federation? Do they capture Stitch and tear him away from the only family he has ever known? Does Cobra Bubbles take Lilo away to be placed into care or does Cobra Bubbles no more than we think?

The answers lie in the film, one thing I am sure of is that 'Lilo and Stitch' is an entertaining, hilarious film bringing forth the message that families are there for one another, bless
