Liam Dale's Cars - Great British Classic (DVD)

Advantages: Great cast, lovely stories, great music, Christmas!!

...Love Actually has now become one of my favourite British Movies of all time and in my opinion can be classed as a British Classic alongside such favourites as Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral. It was released in 2003 and directed by Richard Curtis. The great part about the film in my opinion is the way in which the stories and the characters all weave and are linked in very creative ways to show how the personal lives of others can affect your own life. The film also incorporates my favourite time of year, Christmas! It follows the great British Christmas traditions of deciding who is going to have the Christmas number one, the school nativity play and each others relationships as Christmas approaches. Advantages: It has two great movies
Disadvantages: not much known about Dayar e madina..

...This 3 pack DVD has two great blockbusters from the Golden era namely Chhalia (1960)and China Town(1962), although the other film Dayar-E-Madina , a muslim social relatively little known.. Chhalia has an impressive star cast of Raj Kapoor, Nutan, Rehman and Pran ,and an equally impressive music score by composers Kalyanji Anandji. Chhalia is by no means one of Nutan's best films, in fact it compares poorly with the Raj kapoor-Nutan starrer 'Anadi' ...the story line is a bit complicated at times, with too many twists and turns...but the music is pleasing especially Mukesh songs'Dum dum diga diga ' 'Chalia mera naam and 'Mere toote hue dil mein.. and Lata's 'Tere rahon mein khade hai ' and 'Baje paayal cham cham'....worth watching a great actress like Nutan in any film, and picturisation of the melodious songs...
