Director: Richard Donner Producers: Richard Donner and Joel Silver Writers: Jeffrey Boam and Robert Mark Kamen. Starring: Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joe Pesci, Stuart Wilson and Rene Russo. Music: Eric Clapton, Michael Kamen, Elton John and Davud Sanborn
Released in mid 1992 this third film in the sequence of Gibson/Glover movies.
**BRIEF PLOT**
With Detective sergeant Martin Riggs, (played by Mel Gibson) and his partner Roger Murtaugh, (played by Danny Glover) finding themselves demoted to traffic, due to an unfortunate situation regarding a bomb, a cat and an over keen Riggs, the pair are not too happy, but on their first day out they stumble across an armed robbery and decide to intervene, finding more than they bargained for when they apprehend one of the robbers.
With Riggs and Murtaugh keen on interviewing the suspect they have to compete with others to speak to him first… like Internal Affairs Sergeant Lorna Cole, (played by Rene Russo) and a rather vicious ex police Lieutenant named Jack Travis, (played by Stuart Wilson).
Travis has started to supply villians with semi automatic guns with armour piercing bullets, or 'cop-killers' and it is up to Riggs, Murtaugh and Cole to stop him, especially when it turns out that some of the guns are in the hands of teenagers who have no qualms in shooting at the police, much to Murtaughs horror.

**IN CONCLUSION**
Another fine movie in the series of the Lethal Weapon saga…
The story line is again well written and the acting is as good as anyone could expect, with the right amount of humour injected into some of the scenes to make the viewing even more pleasurable.
The brilliantly funny Joe Pesci plays the character of Leo Getz to perfection…with his catch phrase 'what ever you want Leo Getz'…. first class indeed.
It does seem that the writers are trying to add more humour into each of the movie as they are written, and doing a fine job in the process with each movie being more humorous than its predecessor.
There is plenty of action, thrills, car chases, and stunts, put together with humour and that touch of romance… everything a good movie needs…
Would I recommend this…?
Yes I certainly would. It is another Gibson/Glover masterpiece and will entertain you throughout, making you laugh in parts and gasp in others.
Again, adding Joe Pesci into the equation gives the right amount of comical intervention and does keep the movie really entertaining indeed.
Go on, add it to your collection, you can get a copy from www.amazon.co.uk for less than £7.00
