Many people have been influenced by the scarface film and the rap genre has especially referenced to it man songs. This is now an official compilation of songs with money, power and respect themes. as you would imagine, all are rap. Put together in 2003, this def jam idea includes songs by Nas, Mobb Deep and Notorious BIG, some made especially for the album some old tracks that just fit. None appear in the film but there are samples and dialouge used from the picture. Tracks Its Mine - Mobb Deep & Nas. Scarface cues used as the sample in this one which was originally put t ogether in 99. A good relevant track to start the album Yeo - Cam'ron. Music For Reflection

Advantages: Some lovely songs, some great vocals
Disadvantages: A few weak links, Some tried songs which were too big for them

good and it shows the power in his voice. The songs which really did not excite me on here first include You?ll never walk Alone, now don?t get me wrong I do really like the song and especially the meaning behind it but Lesley Garrett should never have tried to sing this, her voice is just too powerful and she sings it way too high and really makes a mess of it. I also don?t like the fact that there are a lot of new singers on here trying to pull off good old fashioned songs and put new twists on them as they just don?t work. Faryl Smith who appeared and was bough to out attention on Britain?s Got Talent is also featured on here but she is singing one of my all time favourite songs which always makes me think of my Nan, Amazing Grace, but I don?t she is quite experienced vocally enough to do this justice. Music and Lyrics

Advantages: entertaining, good dance songs, nice ballads
Disadvantages: if you don't know the film you might not enjoy it that much

After seeing the film, I just had to go and buy the soundtrack. I had it now for a few months and I still love to listen to it regularly. The film begins with the song ?POP! Goes my heart.? Which meant, I was in stitches already 5 Minutes into the film. So there is no surprise that the first song on the soundtrack is ?POP! Goes my heart.? It?s so very 80 ties and each time I hear it, I see Hugh Grant with his 80 ties haircut singing it. Brilliant! It is really Hugh Grant singing on the CD, which is reason enough to purchase this CD. The song might not get a placing in the top 10 charts these days but it has a lot of comedy value and it sticks in your head. The second song is ?Buddha?s Delight? which is sung by Haley Bennett. It?s a great song for dancing, quite sexy. It really gets those hips moving. - One of my favourites ...
