Legally Blonde is a great feel good movie, it's also very girly, after I saw it I painted my nails and did my hair, it justs makes you wanna pamper yourself!

*THE PLOT*
Elle Woods has it all. She is head of this famous sorority. She was home coming queen. She has blonde hair, she's pretty and looks after herself, she also has a little dog called Bruiser.

Elle has a cute boyfriend called Warner who she thinks is going to ask her to marry him. Unfortunately the night which is supposed to be her happiest turns out to be her saddest. Warner tells Elle he needs to think about his future, she thinks he's gonna pop the question but instead he tells her he can't be with a "dumb blonde". He says she isn't serious enough and he leaves her to go to Harvard Law School.

Elle is obviously mortified and doesn't come out of her room for like ever! But her two best friends Serena and Margot come to the rescue and take her for a manicure and pedicure. While they're having there nails done Elle goes through some magazines and finds an article about Warner's brother who married a law student. Elle decides that if she wants Warner back she has to become a law student too.

Elle studies hard for her LSAT's and makes a video essay for the guys at Harvard Law, she passes the LSAT's and thanks to her showing off her bod in a tiny pink bikini the guys at Harvard let her in.

When Elle arrives at Harvard she is obviously a joke, wearing matching pink outfits and having a tiny little dog with clothes. She is not taken seriously and in her first class she is laughed out of the room all thanks to a bitchy prep girl named Vivian.

Later on Elle meets up with Warner and he introduces her to his fiance, Vivian. After a lot of embarassments in front of Vivian and Warner, Elle finds out about a party, Vivian tells her about it saying it's fancy dress,(if someone you hate tells you that would you turn up in fancy dress?) so Elle turns up as a pink bunny,(unfortunately for Vivian, Elle looks excellent)When Elle tells Warner she's going to try for a position on a murder case that her Professor is giving out, Warner pretty much laughs in her face, Elle leaves the party shouting "I'll show you how valuable Elle Woods can be" then she goes out and buys a lap top and works her butt off to be took seriously at Harvard, she still isn't even though she has got a lot smarter!

In the end Elle gets a place on the murder case, with Vivian and Warner. The murder case turns out that Brook Taylor Windham, an excercise instructor, has been accused of killing her husband, luckily for Brook, Elle used to be a student of hers, she's sure that Brook didn't do it, and when she gets Brook's secret alibi she holds it dear to her heart even though she is pressured into telling.

Elle has to solve the case, because everyone else thinks Brook is guilty, she also wants to get Warner back at the same time, but will she?

*THE CAST*
Elle - Reese Witherspoon
Emmett - Luke Wilson
Warner - Matthew Davis
Vivian - Selma Blair
Brook - Ali Larter
Serena - Alanna Ubach
Margot - Jessica Cauffiel
Paulette - Jennifer Coolidge
Prof Callahan - Victor Garber

*CHARACTERS*
Elle - Elle as I said is blonde, beautiful, great fashion sense and DUMB! As the movie goes on she gets smarter but there's always that manicured, pedicured, well groomed bit going on with her. She's not taken seriously but she is respected and liked, because she's a nice, funny, sweet and clueless girl.

Emmett - Emmett is a great guy who helps Elle all the time. He is a TA for Prof Callahan and works on the murder case with her. He believes in her and I think he is pretty much the reason she suceeds alot.

Warner - Warner is the guy that doesn't propose to Elle. He's horrible and dumb and U-G-L-Y. He thinks he's excellent and he's not, he's just mean and has weird glasses at the start of the film.

Vivian - Vivian is just a rich bitch, she has it in for Elle since she see's Warner talking to her. Vivian also belongs to a study group with Warner and refuses to let Elle join.

Brook - Brook is the woman who has been accused of killing her husband. Elle makes friends with her and believes Brook is innocent because "excercise gives you endorphens, endorphens make you happy, happy people don't just shoot there husbands". Brook is a good friend to Elle and has a brief shining moment in the movie.

Serena and Margot - Serena and Margot are Elle's best friends before she goes to Harvard, they are good friends but they are dumb and dumber incarnate. They look after Elle when Warner dumps her but I don't think they care about her that much, I think they're more star struck with her.

Paulette - Paulette actually meets Elle when she's feeling down and needs a manicure. She makes her happier and Elle returns the favour. Paulette is a sweet character and she's very kind but very shy. She's also blonde and a bit dumb and very intimidated by men.

Prof Callahan - This is Elle's professor who gives her the job on the murder case, he seems nice but turns out to be a jerk.

*THE SOUNDTRACK*
It's a good soundtrack although I don't remember it that well, it has very Britney Spears-ish tracks, girly and makes me think of the colour pink. The songs are upbeat and fresh and mesh well together, I think I'd probably buy the soundtrack if I saw it.
