To tell the truth I was a bit disappointed with this film, I had seen Legal Blonde and thought it was fab and was sure I was going to enjoy the sequel, however I felt that they did not put as much in to this one and in a way were cashing in on its previous success. It was not my favourite movie and therefore I cannot recommend it.
So what is it all about? You are back with lawyer Ella Woods and the film tells the story of her campaign to bring about a law to stop animal testing. She finds out that her dog’s mother is in a testing lab and this starts her mission to Washington to find support to stop this cruelty. When she gets there she has trouble finding someone to take her seriously and although she find a friend (or so she thinks) that offers her an office and people to work with they are not taken by her campaign and are bitchy about the way she deals with things. As the movie unfolds you find out that the person she thinks is a friend is actually conspiring against her. It takes the help of her sorority sisters, hairdresser Paulette and a very friendly bellman at her hotel (that hears plenty political goings on of guests) to get enough votes to try to pass the bill. But can she get enough votes and persuade everyone to take her seriously.
I would not say this film was bad, and perhaps had this not been the sequel to the excellent first film I may not of been too disappointed. If you could get it at the right price or even rent it, it wouldn’t be a completely wasted evening.

I liked that you added the DVD extras, that's a great idea. I've got the first one of these movies on a rental list at the moment, but I think it's about 34th, so I've got a bit of a wait for that yet! This one seems a bit disappointing, so I may just stick with the first. - Suzyxx
