Advantages: none that I can think of. Disadvantages: Too many to mention.
everything imagineable (Salo.). As such, I have found myself on a crusade to watch as many of these 'banned' films as possible, to fulfill my bloodlust.
I picked up a copy of the infamous, Wes Craven classic ' Last house on the left; on Ebay for about a quid, now that they have reduced P&P on dvd's to nothing! So, I slipped it into the DVD player with great anticipation. My palms were sweaty, and I was genuinely excited at the prospect of watching the film. But how would it turn out in the end?
The truth is I don't know.... The end I mean.... I didn't see it. I couldn't stomach it. Not, rather unfortunately, because of the gore involved, or because of the way that it disturbs you. No, I was put off by the fact that the film was total and utter crap. I actually think that I deserve a medal for martyring through as far as I did.

Advantages: Some good acoustic tracks Disadvantages: A couple of weak tracks
it would be fans of the band that own this album or are most likely to buy it.
The only gripe I have is that on their 'Crush' Tour a few years back they performed an excellent, slowed down acoustic version of 'Runaway' which was absolutely fantastic, and I would have loved for it to have been included on this album.
That said, it is still a good album and worth buying for the 3 or 4 stand out tracks alone.
My CD also came with a bonus DVD including concert footage and extras.

The film itself is based on the autobiography by Christy Brown. Christy Brown was born to a large catholic Irish family in 1932. He was born into a loving family who were also poor, and loyal. His father; played by Ray McAnally; headbutts a customer in the public bar for even dare suggest his ability to have children was over, or that his child would go in a home because he was disabled. Christy had Cerebral Palsy, and his real physical body strength was more or less completely in his left foot. His parents wouldn't have known what the disability was until much later, but they refused to let him ...
Dutch actor, Jeroen Krabbe's first feature film is a touching look at the connected lives of two Jewish families in early 1970s Belgium. Laura Fraser stars as Chaja, the 20 year-old daughter of two Holocaust survivors who eschews her faith and goes to Antwerp to study philosophy and live a bohemian life. However, when she takes a job as a nanny for the Kalmans, a Hasidic family, she begins a friendship with the devout Mrs. Kalman (Rossellini) and her four-year-old son, Simcha that forces her to re-evaluate the Jewish faith. An affecting and clear eyed look at Hasidic faith, which is so often glossed over and generalised in movies, LEFT LUGGAGE is a moving film, aided immeasurably by Ms. Rossellini's and Ms. Fraser's standout performances.
