Advantages: The funniest comedian (and DVD) I have ever had the pleasure to watch Disadvantages: However long it is it isn't enough!
...I have always loved watching Lee Evans as in my opinion he is THE best comedian around. I soon settled down to watch it hoping I wasn't to be disappointed.
The DVD starts off a bit slowly, Lee Evans is a bit nervous and it shows as he struggles to start, 5 minutes later however and you forget all about this as he soon has you in stitches, it speaks volumes if you have the ability to make 10,000 people laugh.
The thing ... ...is unbelievable.
Lee Evans is one of the most active comedians around, dancing around the stage doing actions to all his words, it is no wonder that it doesn't take long before his is dripping (literally) with sweat, he often rubs down with a towel, and despite changing suits at the interval it isn't long before that too is drenched in sweat. The funny faces Evans also makes just adds to the comedy value.

The thing that makes Lee Evans funny (in my opinion) is the fact that most if not all of his sketches are based on real life occurances that we can all relate to, the amount of times during the DVD you think 'oh yeah!' is unbelievable.

Here are the names of all the chapters:
-Sorry im late only..
-Break a leg
-Snooze button
-Flying...Exit seat
-I feel sorry for horses
-I love the average football fan
-Automatic air freshener
INTERVAL
-Welcome back
-Caravaners
-Bump start
-Never argue with a woman
-Are you having any more
-Song 'Philosophy on life'
-End credits
There is also a couple of extras, these are 'Access all areas'- a behind the scenes sort of thing and his other (famous) song 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
Towards the end, Lee Evans sings his song 'Philosophy on life', whilst playing the piano, this just shows his other talents, he is better than many other people who sing for a living, he is accompanied by a choir and a man who is playing the saxophone, who near the end of the song we discover is his father, quite a touching moment.
You only fully appreciate how funny Lee Evans is as at the end 10,000 people erupt in applause and whistle in appreciation, winning 10,000 people over? I certainly wouldnt fancy it.
The only downside if you wanted to watch it as a family (which had young children in) is that Evans quite often swears, this is the only downside I can think of.
The DVD itself is approximately 2 hours long-It's the best two hours watching TV i've ever spent.

Review of Lee Evans - Wired And Wonderful - Live At Wembley (DVD)
Advantages: The Guy Knows His Stuff Disadvantages: He Swears Quite A Bit
...little quirks.
I believe Lee Evans has the ability to actually turns a normal part of everyday life and see the funny side to it all and I believe that is what makes a true comedian.
In this show and others, Lee has a habit of swearing quite a bit but often that really just adds to the scene. Some people who are vividly against swearing may find it offensive and I don't believe children would understand much of his humour.
What is a bit of a shock ... ...I say performance because Lee often tends to act out his humour and as such he never stops moving. By the end of the show the poor guy has sweat dripping off of him but none the less, he is suberb comedian who likes to get involved in his show and with his audience... ...

Advantages: The ability to any alement from simple laughter! Disadvantages: It begins to hurt after laughing so much!
...simple minded 16 year old, Lee Evans has to be one of the greatest comedians alive today. Lee Evans live at wembley- there is much that can be said but quite simply anyone that can make 10,000 people burst out in laughter must be a comic genius! Okay so I borrowed the film off a friend, set 2 hours of my day aside, sat back and enjoyed. Lee Evans is really easy to appreciate in this stand up routine, the energy he portrays on stage is emitted through ... ...one of his fans.
Lee evans is an absolutley manic performer and things are maybe a bit slow to begin with (Mainly due to nerves) but things soon take off however and you will be rolling around in tears of laughter in no time. This film however should not be viewed under the presence of the 'little ones' as there are frequent shouts of not so pleasant words. (The description of whichI shall not say). The film however does not come with a health warning ...

Advantages: Funny, very funny, very very funny Disadvantages: You will hurt yourself laughing - does not come witha health warning!
Lee Evans - F**king marvelous.... His words not mine..... He swears alot, he sweats alot, he laughs alot...... But man is a monkey in a suit that will make you wet yourself laughing. I'm in love with the guy!
If you do not mind the odd swear word, then watch the man do his stuff and I will enjoy yourself and forget about all those bad things in this world. The show is set in Wembly (London) and is packed full (wall to wall), this is biggest audience ... ...what is so funny about Lee Evans?
Well to start with; he looks like a monkey, walks like a monkey and possibly half monkey. Don't worry! he refers to himself as monkey boy!
The man (and he is) has the incredible knack of making everyday events hilarious! Simple as that.
My only comparison I can make is that Lee Evans is like Norman Wisdom on speed! Fast, Funny and in the words of 'Father Ted' Feckin Funny.
Nan will love him, I love him, my mum ...

Advantages: Wet your pants comedy Disadvantages: Lots of swearing
...Therefore I cannot compare Lee Evans to many others. Personally I'm not a fan of Jimmy Carr (I find he's too expressionless). So in that respect, Lee Evans is his opposite. Energetic, lively, explosive.
For those of you who have seen Lee Evans for youself, I hope you'll agree. But for those of you who haven't then he is highly recomended by me. He was the first stand-up comedian I ever saw (in The Ultimate Experience) and I know when I buy his dvd ... ...with one extra which is Lee Evans' Bohemian Rhapsody. So it would be nice if there were more. The actual play time is 115 minutes so you do get plenty of entertainment to counter the lack of featurettes. Overall I would have to say that I prefered The Ultimate Experience though, perhaps the cursing that brings it down (but only slightly). I'm not against the swearing because, frankly, his jokes would not be the same without them.
If there's anything ...

This DVD has more extras on! Not only is there the usual chapter list, but there's that Bohemiam Rhapsody sketch I went on about earlier, and also an access all areas section as well, which takes you backstage to find more out about LeeEvan's and what goes into the making of these shows. I found this piece particulary enjoyable!
Being Wembley, you'd expect this to be fabulous and it is! A massive audience and an huge stage! The backdrop is red and blue vertical strips of lights. Very bright and very eye-catching! Also, being Wembley, there's the big screens behind him!
I think this is definately one of the best in the box set! This is also the longest, being one hour and fifty-five minutes long.
