I have always loved Lee Evans; he is, in my opinion, by far the best comedian around and doesn't even come close to being compared with anyone else. I didn't think that he could get much funnier than in his XL Tour, but he surpassed my expectations by a mile with his new Big Tour.
His second act was the funniest for me and I don't think I stopped laughing for more than a couple of seconds throughout it. Parts even gave me the stitches and had me holding my stomach in pain (a good stomach workout!) as well as crying with laughter. In this act he concentrates on marriage and the difficulties of being a husband and a father. I found I could relate to this more as I am newly married and I'm sure any other married person or someone in a serious relationship will also find it hilarious. There were jokes on household chores and meeting his daughter's new boyfriend, etc. - you really do have to watch it to find out how funny it is.
The tour was so popular that he sold over 500,000 tickets in the most popular arenas throughout the UK including London's O2 Arena and taking in over 59 dates with extra dates constantly being added due to the popularity. Lee Evans is a top class act and anyone for who fancies a laugh this should be your first stop.
Even though I saw it live I am definitely going to buy the DVD for it - even now I'm remembering some of his act and I'm sitting here laughing as I'm writing this review!
