Funny man Lee Evans released this DVD for his latest live tour called Big. This was recorded at the O2 arena in October 2008.
Lee Evans seems to have been around for many years to me and is not just known for his stand up shows but he has also appeared in some hit movies such as Mousehunt and The Martins.
I have also enjoyed watching Lee Evans I find him very funny. It is not just his jokes it is the way he tells them with all the expressions and over exaggerating. To me Lee Evans is still one of the best comedians out there.
Lee Evans Live at the 02 is very funny it starts with Lee in his changing room and the room keeps filling up with water from the sweat coming off Lee Evans, because if you are fan of Lee Evans and have seen him before you will know how much this guy actually sweats.
Then the show starts and it the usual slapstick comedy that you usually associate with the great Norman Wisdom and the similarities are there for all to see.
Anyone who has seen Lee Evans will also get to see Lee perform his usual "The Lee Evans Trio" this is were Lee takes the role up of 3 different people at the same time on stage this is very funny and you then realise why this man sweats so much with that amount of running around.
Lee does the usual jokes about current affairs, mother in laws, his wife etc and the way he portraits the joke is what makes him in my opinion on of the best comedians of our generation.
I would recommend this DVD for anyone who has watched any of the Lee Evans back catalogue and I would recommend even if you have never watched one of Lee Evans shows. It is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and you will see yourself agreeing with some of the things his says. Brilliant and a must have.
